Formula. Even if I wanted to use donor milk, and I am yet to find any good reason why I would want to, it is really expensive.

Formula. Isn't that what the absolute majority would do?

For a baby in NICU it would be different, I'd use whatever milk was suitable whether that be donor milk on hand at the hospital or formula.

I think we would use formula but maybe try to get DP to lactate.

We aren't co breast feeding this time around because it's not practical having DP keeping up a supply when she will be working and i'll be home indefinitely.

We will co feed when number two gets here as dp will be going back to work earlier so ill be the primary carer, and if number 1 is still feeding we could always see how it goes.

Looking fwd to seeing how it goes for you KKP - I know quite a few ladies who've co breast fed!

My aunt is due 6 weeks after me and I'd have no problem sharing milk with her if needed, but I expect she'd find it strange.

Formula. Can I ask what the long term health issues are with formula?
