Default Healthy Meal Ideas - Recipes

    Hey ladies!!

Like the title says I am looking for healthy meal ideas. I have bought endless amounts of cook books but sometimes that food doesn't seem like every day home cooking. Would love to shed some weight and want some new recipes to try.

Thought it would be good to share meal ideas and or recipes of what normal people eat everyday. Hopefully this thread will inspire others that are looking to eat healthier as well

*mods please move if this is not the right place

    To pinterest!!

No, really, Pinterest. A lot of the food in the health section/food and drink section looks fancy but I find them no different to the salads/pastas, etc, that I make regularly anyway. A lot of them are designed for people with little/no time too.

    And they're so COLOURFUL.

If you're on there on a pc, next to the search bar there's a box with three lines in it. If you click on it then a drop down box will appear. Then just go to the food and drink option, click in and go through the photos until you find something that looks good. When you click on it, click on the big up box and the recipe will appear.

Thanks Jennaisme! I'll check it out.

Melimum - that's exactly the problem! I buy recipe books but the food isn't normal home cooked meals. It's got 10,000 ingredients and half the stuff in it is stuff I haven't even heard of lol.

I just want standard/boring/normal healthy meal ideas haha. Something simple to make and good for you.

ETA - you've already uploaded the screen shot - thank you!!!!!!

I'm making a meal plan for next grocery shop!

One of my favourite healthy meals is an adaptation of spag bol. I keep the mince sauce the same but substitute the pasta with zucchini. I julienne the zucchini, fry it up with a little coconut oil, salt, pepper and garlic then serve it with the bolognese sauce and some parmesan. I'm sensitive to gluten so I avoid large portions of it like pasta, pizza and bread because they make me feel rotten.
