Klm I hope you have a perfect emby this morning. So sorry to hear about your dad. I hope he recovers quickly. Big hugs.
Bettie & Heartstringz. Sending u hugs
Megsarama. Hope the pain subsides for u.
    Stc. Congrats.
Chiefs. Love love love, your emby names. I think I'll steal that idea, it's very positive I love it.

Everyone else babydust for u all. As I'm on my ph and back off to bed.

Afm. Yesterday EPU got 23 eggs! Hubby said to me "thats like nearly 2 dozen Lol". Woohoo! Dr is worried I'm overstimming, and I am in pain, but keeping fluids and protein up. As I type this I'm drinking sustagen. I'm so glad I didn't have to cancel. What's a bit of bloating, water weight gain & abdominal pain... When I have a baby ill be going through all those symptoms eventually anyway .

As I typed this the FS girls rang, the FS got the lab to do some creative fertilisation. Out of 23 eggs, 13 went through IVF normally - 9 fertilised!
Then the remaining 10 eggs went through ICSI - 8 fertilised! Yay!!!!
So 17 embies I am over the moon.
Because I have ohss dr wants me to do 5 day blast transfer. At least now I feel like if it doesn't work this time, we will have plenty of FETs to do in the future. Fingers crossed they are good quality.

Wow so much happened in one day!

kLM fingers crossed for your egg to have fertilised. I'm so sorry for your dad, sounds like he was very lucky. It was good you had people with you last night. Hugs to ou.

Stc- congrats on your bfp, can you send some of that stickiness my way?

Hope4baby, wow what haul! Fx for good growth and that your able to keep ohssatbay.

Rainbowrain how is the tww going? When isn't?

Annerley has you epu been set?

Sandra, I hear you on the lucrin, this was my first cycle without it and I didn't miss it! Remember it's putting you in state of menopause so feeling like crap is normal!

Megsarama, yay for AF, boo for no panadeine!

AFM- 12dpo or 7dp5dt I have a light pain in my lower groin area, and woke up feeling nauseous. Not sure what to make of it all, surely if it had worked I wouldn't have the pain down low? I did have sore boobs, but today they don't seem as bad( although I have only moved from bed to couch so far- off to personal training soon, so might get sore once I start moving!). Gosh darn this is so confusing. The last two times all symptoms had gone by 5days pre bt so I have no idea what to think!

Megsarama- great news about af arriving but sorry to hear you have a bad time with it! Hope you are feeling more comfortable soon!

rainbowrain- congrats on being PUPO! Fingers crossed that your other emby makes it to freeze! When's your blood test?

hope4baby- what a massive number of eggs but you have to be thrilled with that! Do you recall how many follicles you had to get numbers like that? Good job but hope you aren't too sore!

    berrabrooder, how did you go?

sandra- glad your bruise didn't hurt! This probably sounds weird but I felt a little excited when I got one! It felt like I was really experiencing this. My bruise doesn't hurt and is small but I now have a second really tiny one. I agree with Chiefsgirl, don't think we nicked any veins this time but it still bruised!

chiefsgirl- just went to my follow up blood test and they will call this afternoon to confirm but have already booked me in for Monday morning. Apparently high oestrogen levels make the follies grow quicker so they want to get in there quick!

I had one follicle at 17mm, another at 16mm and another 8 between 12-14mm. They said it was good that they are all growing at similar sizes and apparently even the 12mm ones won't be too small for EPU by Monday. My next challenge is that my progesterone levels also came back high which means I'm getting really to ovulate on my own! This scared me a bit but they did say that my scan wasn't showing a dominate follicle that was ready to pop! They are rechecking my progesterone today but seem to think that I'll just trigger tonight and be ready for Monday! I'm just in shock of how quickly it's all happened! I've only had 9 stims and only feel niggling twinges in my stomach but nothing more!

Good morning guys! EPU went ok yesterday- only 4 eggs as my left ovary didn't contribute again. Good news is that all fertilized normally. Quite a bit more pain this time round, which has been a surprise with so few eggs. Also not allowed pregnyl as estrogen was over 9000... ET with crinone- hmm not a nice thought but not avoidable this time!
Bit mad with my mum though... She totally forgot where we were up to, got a little mad I wasn't answering my phone in the morning (EPU), and then when I told her I only got 4 eggs, she tsked and suggested it was time for me to give up. Really blasé about it too. I wonder if It'd be healthier just not talking to her over 2ww. Grrr!!!

Congrats on your BFPs hposs and stc76! Send out your sticky vibes this way!

KLM0511, I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad and I hope that he has a quick recovery- it's not a nice place to be injured. keep your spirits up, it's a very stressful time, fingers crossed for your eggie.

Hope everything goes well for EPU on mon Annerley- hold those guys in!!!

Congrats on your 17 embies Hope4baby- awesome numbers. Hopefully you'll get heaps of frosties!!!

Bettie, sorry about AF (though still hoping it isn't actually it!) but glad u got a frostie.

    Good morning ladies,

Just a quick msg from my phone (can see there has been a lot of updates since I've been back so need to catch up again)

I just had to post to say I'm about to do it... See my friend who is 11wks pregnant from her 1st IVF cycle (we cycled together) I haven't had the courage to see her until now... I think... She's currently running 15mins late... As if the anticipation isn't enough already! Ahhh.... Wish me luck!!

Annerley- that sounds like a good 'crop'!
I had another scan & BT this morning as my follies are all different sizes. Two small ones on the right, around 9 mm. Then 7 on the left but only 4 above 12 mm (one is 16).
The other 3 are 10, 6 and 4.. So there seem to be 4 that will be ok. I'm ok with that even though last time I had 13. It only takes 1! I have to take two shots of orgalutran now! But the puregon will stay the same... I didn't even ask about my estrogen levels (maybe it is a little high too?).
Much less straight forward than the last time, but I am two years older (& luckily a bit more relaxed than then as well).

Congrats stc - even to get this far is worth celebrating.

Got a call from the clinic- my progesterone levels have dropped back down to normal levels I'm so happy! I had myself all worked up that they would cancel the cycle! EPU is confirmed for Monday with trigger happening tonight!

Thanks Berrabrooder- 4 is great from one ovary!! Sorry to hear about what your mum said but with 4 you have a real chance so def not time to give up!

Good luck JB! Hope you have a nice time with your friend!

Ricecracker- you never know, those smallies may grow enough, apparently the big ones can be in the 20s and still good so the others may get big enough! Any idea when EPU will be? Do you have another scan? Good luck, hope they grow nicely! Apparently oestrogen should be a little high when doing Ivf as it is produced by the growing follies and since we are growing more than just the one that would naturally grow each month, a little high is expected. My understanding is when the level is higher they may grow quicker, I believe that's why my EPU is earlier. I asked them what my oestrogen level was when they called and they said yesterday was 4500 and today was 9500 but said that was normal range for nearing EPU, main thing was that progesterone has dropped so the risk of ovulation or the uterus not being ready had decreased! So much more to this than I expected!

Annerley, that is great that prog levels have decreased a little... And yay! for EPU on Monday. A good start to the week
I have another scan Monday morning, but have to go in tomorrow morning as well to pick up more meds (with the change to 2 orgalutran shots). So that will be 4 days in a row - not that I ever sleep in anyway.. Probably two more days before the trigger the nurse thinks, but the FS will call it as he sees it I guess. Which centre are you with?

In other news, I cannot stop eating at the moment!
