    Default Am I pregnant?

    Hi everyone

I'm quite new to this site but have been undergoing different types of fertility assistance for two years. I have just had my first round of IUI and am 13days post insemination. I started getting breast tenderness and cramps from day one and wrote them off to the fertility meds. I have now been feeling waves of nausea the past two days so I tested and got a faint to med so is it possible I am actually pregnant? I have my but dont want to get my hopes too high as I have not heard very many positive stories regarding IUI. So what do you think can anyone give me any advice please?

    Thanks

Sounds quite possible! Probably too early for the nausea to be MS as your BHcg won't be high enough yet but my first give away was breast tenderness. Well to be specific, nipple tenderness!
Good luck! Fingers crossed for you. Check again in a day or two!

Thanks for replying BubblesK! My FS told me to test this Wed but when the nausea started I thought I might give it a go. My breasts are very sore and I have an intense hunger! I'm just too scared to get excited but hopefully when I retest on Wed it will still be positive. Have to admit that I am scared its a chemical pregnancy but even its real I'm also scared about possibly having another mc. So will just have to wait and see.

A faint to medium line sounds like a good BFP to me love!! Try not to get too anxious!

A faint line is usually a BFP

I had nausea early on with this baby, and sensitivity to smells which is what made me test. I was only 9dpo and got a very faint line.

    Good luck!!!

Unfortunately no luck this time. Second test was this morning and AF showed her ugly face this afternoon. I guess it was a chemical as I suspected. On to round two I guess with for better luck next time.

Well here I go again with the awful 2ww. Its hard when DH works away and isn't here to hold my hand. Has anyone else found AI painful? Physically I mean not just emotionally.
