    Default Newbie TTC

    Hey girls!

I'm Bek and I'm 21. I was diagnosed with PCOS when my "periods" first started when I was 12. Since then I've had 6 operations (laposcopies, hysteroscopies and a Lletz) and spent a lot of time is hospital.

At the moment, I'm the healthiest I've been in a number of years and am jumping on the chance to conceive. My periods are almost regular (missed only 2 this year due to cysts) and I've kept off 8kgs!

I've done two clomid cycles about 18 months ago to no joy and left it for then. I'm now about to start a 50mg Clomid cycle again and am wondering about other's success!? I'm staying positive as I am healthy and stress-free.

Anyone else out there in a similar position?

    Thanks for reading

    Bek

Hi and welcome to the Hub.

I was diagnosed with PCOS back in 2010 and since then I have have conceived my DS naturally and my DD with the help of clomid.

With DD I was on 50mg of Clomid and I was one of the lucky ones that conceived first go.

DH and I will be going through the journey again next year when we TTC #3.

    Good luck with you journey

Thank you for the reply Kimnus and congratulations on two successful pregnancies.

Do you know if conceiving in your first round of clomid is common?

I am not actually sure. I know a few ladies that have tried it but haven't had success.

Hopefully someone else will be able to help.
