I dont judge them for it but I dont feel sorry for them if they complain their child is overweight and/or unhealthy.

However its not my child so its none of my business but my kids wont touch that stuff.

To be honest I've never seen someone give their young child coke.

I did however judge one mother yelling at her young children (5 & 3ish) in a shopping centre as they weren't behaving well - as they walked along with a large sized frozen coke slurpee.

Absolutely. Why you would give a toddler/young child coke is beyond me. i feel sick when i see kids (quite often) with a bright coloured green drink or coke in their sippy cup/bottle.

Yes I judge, I don't think there is any excuse not to give water, it's healthy, cheap and widely available. My DS has never tasted coke or any soft drink before. I don't see the need.

Yes I do judge. Also cordial & any other soft drink & most juices. I've seen my Niece first hand at 3.5 have her 4 back teeth ripped out under general anesthetic due to them being rotten. My Nieces mother gave her nothing but soft drink in a bottle mind you. I'm also a pediatric dietician, so don't get me started! Lol.

I did the day I saw a woman give her maybe 2 y/o a drink of her diet coke and he spat it out and said "yuck. I hate that one, give me Daddy's. I only like the real stuff". And Daddy laughed and handed over his bottle of coke.

that said, I was sitting in a park, heavily pregnant feeding my 21 m/o chips and potato cakes for lunch, so I guess my child's diet wasn't much better!

Yes, but a different softdrink. My little brother is addicted to pepsi max. My mum thinks its better for him than coke but I don't agree that he should be drinking much of any of those drinks. He drinks it before bed and goes nuts.
