Bubhub makes it seem like you get judged terribly once you become a parent. But I'm pretty sure someone, somewhere is judging us for anything/everything we do in our day to day lives! I can guarantee you I get judged every day in the work force.

I just think it intensifies when *innocent* children are involved.

I've just got a regular kid who drinks softdrinks as a treat, not one who needs it to survive and have never thought it was a problem. Yes I find it shocking that people could walk up to strangers and say something to them, and that people can think there is no need for it, well even if there isn't, it's up to the parents if they want their kids to drink it, or allow it if the kids want it.

I once gave DD some coke when she was about 3 or 4. I was terribly embarrassed, and hid away to do it... but our train had broken down in some random train line, and DD was thirsty and all I had was a warm bottle of semi-flat coke. lol.

DP gives it to DD when I'm not around... she dobs him in... and I'm not a complete freak about it, I don't like threaten to leave him or anything... it's just not something I believe is something she should be having for a very long time yet.

ETA: I'm one of those people who judges from afar. I'm not going to go up to you and tell you I think you're being an idiot.
