Yes i would recommend it unless you have a really complicated return.

I love etax! So easy to use and understand.

My favourite bit is at the end it gives you an estimate of your return, as opposed to writing it all out on the individual form and posting it in, them waiting to hear back from the ato.

Oh and if you need help, there's a help desk number you can call.

It's super easy. You can get help/explanations for each question if your unsure.

Lodged mine on a Sunday and had the money in my account on the Friday

Hoping someone can help me with an etax question...

You know how it pre-fills lots of information? Well, it pre filled income for my dh, but one of his employers isn't there? What does this mean? This particular company only employed him part time for a couple of weeks during the financial year, he only earned a few grand and no tax was deducted. Does the fact that it hasn't shown up mean that the ato weren't notified he worked there? Or is it because no tax was deducted the ato don't have any record of it. Or has etax left it off some how? These people sent him a group certificate, so surely they've done everything right by the ato..

Am I overthinking this? Do I just have to manually add in this extra income?

Yes you just need to enter the information from that employer manually. Not all of our employers prefilled either.
