Do you just chop them in the thermo and then cook it the same way as without the veg?

Yup, so if there's garlic/onion I do that first, then the other veggies, then continue as is.

I got all inspired by the productivity on here and made a batch of cheese and relish scrolls. Just tasted one and am super happy with them!!!

I made a mushroom sauce tonight in thermie.... chucked in mushies and garlic. .sauteed. Then added cream and dijon plus the caramelized onions that I sat my roast on to cook.
Omg.. I've been licking the bowl.

That sounds so delicious. I wish my hubby liked mushrooms because I love them, and the sound of your sauce is making me drool over my phone.

Lol. Well... If the blades aren't moving and you're sticking a soft spatula in there. ... you can lick quite a lot of the bowl by wiping the sauce to the sides and sticking your finger in there. And licking your fingers. So yeah ... technically I did not stick my tongue in there. Lol
I may or may not have done this with cake batters or buttercream icing before this evening.
