Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me jumping on here. But I have been dropping hints to DH for months that I want a thermomix and I think he's coming round. My question is, do I buy one at someone else's demonstration, or do I have a demonstration myself and buy one? I know you get free gifts if you have a demo or some buys one at your demo is that right?

I didn't want to have a demo party. So I contacted thermomix..a consultant emailed me. And I told her so she came and did an individual demo for me and I bought it.

Im bot sure about host incentives i thought that they just have random things like "buy one this month and get an extra thermoserver" or whatever but like other PP's have said you can just get them out to do a demo for just u and hubby if u want.

I just had my mum and sister come along, i already knew i wanted one so i ordered and paid for it prior and had the demo on the day of delivery.

I've used the EDC recipe and it's turned out well.

I can't remember if I have asked this before - but has anyone else cooked the Tomato Pasta Sauce from EDC and opened their TMX at the end of cooking time to find a radioactive orange sauce?!

Is that the tomato and salami recipe? I didn't love it but don't recall it being a strange colour.

Is that the same as the tomato paste? Can't remember which recipe I used. But whichever I made on the weekend was orange like that, but I also added carrot so presumed that was why...
