Just whipped up a batch of lemon, olive oil and salted macadamia biscuits from Quirky Cooking- the new cookbook then a batch of veg stock and a batch of butter spread!

@Atropos what's the book like? Are the recipes quick and family friendly?

I like it! Quite a few family friendly recipes that are quite easy. She uses a lot of ingredients that I don't use much if like spelt flour- I've just been substituting stuff I don't have!

I love this recipe for silverside. It uses the varoma and the thermo bowl.

Great! I love her recipes but was wary of buying the book as I don't tend to use those ingredients either.

I've made quirky's Singapore noodles for dinner tonight!

I am a bit funny about cooking silverside in the varoma.. Is it worth it?
