    Just whipped up a batch of lemon, olive oil and salted macadamia biscuits from Quirky Cooking- the new cookbook then a batch of veg stock and a batch of butter spread!

    @Atropos what's the book like? Are the recipes quick and family friendly?

    I like it! Quite a few family friendly recipes that are quite easy. She uses a lot of ingredients that I don't use much if like spelt flour- I've just been substituting stuff I don't have!

    I love this recipe for silverside. It uses the varoma and the thermo bowl.

    Great! I love her recipes but was wary of buying the book as I don't tend to use those ingredients either.

    I've made quirky's Singapore noodles for dinner tonight!

    I'm still waiting on my book in the mail! Karma for being lazy😖I live 5 mins away from HO but ordered through the mail ggrrrrrr I just can't be bothered taking dd in and out of the car for a book but now regretting it!!!

    I am a bit funny about cooking silverside in the varoma.. Is it worth it?
