I've heard the best ever bread rolls recipe off the community is meant to be good. I have not tried it myself but it seems to have very good feedback. I have made quirky cookings spelt bread rolls heaps and they normally always turn out good but my latest fav bread recipe is from thermoblitz page (link above) and its honestly the best bread I have made. I guess it's the closest to store bought bread. I still find it crazy how we crave store bought 'crap'. Even after a year of cooking additive free (as much as possible) it still takes getting used to

I made the kids macaroni cheese last night and OMG it was awesome! I think the recipe is out of the baby and toddler cookbook but someone posted a link online. I think I need to buy this book. A few recipes in there have really caught my attention.

I thought I may have been too young as the boys are 6 and 4 but can anyone who has the book tell me if there are recipes in there would suit their age?

The Toddler book definitely has meals & snacks that can be adapted for families. I do think most recipes can be found online already though!

Love this recipe, thanks! 1st time I made it with sultanas and apricots, kids & dh loved it. Today I used dates, no apple & no sugar and it was really nice. DH said it tasted better than the muesli bars we buy!

One batch made 20 muesli bars so works out at quite good value.

It's a great recipe so I'm glad you liked it! I also do the same by only adding dates and making it with no sugar and the kids still love it! Great for lunch boxes
