    Found this-
Evaporated canned milk is a great substitute for whole milk in cooking or baking. For each cup of whole milk in a recipe, you should measure 1/2 cup of evaporated milk and add a 1/2 cup measure of water to it. Evaporated canned milk is not the same product as sweetened condensed milk. They are not interchangeable.

So after watching the great Australian bake off the other week I was inspired to make some lemon meringue pie! I have never made it before or ever eaten it for that matter but it worked out beautifully. After 12 months of having my thermy this is the first really naughty thing that I have made! Lol It tasted awesome but DH and i thought it was very sweet. We are so used to not eating sugar though.
