Default How often should mixed fed baby poo?

    Hi ladies,

As my subject says - how often should my mixed fed bub poop?! I know bf babies can go a week or more and it's not a worry, where as ff babies should poo every day or so... What about mixed fed babies?
DD has not pooed since Sunday (midday) , so 3.5 days. The longest previously was 2.5 days and I'm wondering if I should start worrying?
    Thanks.

I wouldn't worry unless he's straining or in pain. You can give him some prune juice (100% prune juice at woollies or cook some prunes) or brown sugar and water. I always add 10ml's of extra water into DS' bottles (20 now that he's older and having solids) to help his bowels.

DS went anywhere from twice a day, once a day or 2-3 days!

Dd is 5.5 wks BF at every feed with a 60ml formula top up.
It's good to know it can range widely. I won't worry just yet
