Am always educating students how to do them correctly as the older nurses refuse to follow new knowledge and continue to do them wrong patients always let me give injections and very rarely have caused bruising with any. When tummy gets too big can always inject into thighs i do it alot at work as elderly people dont have alot of fatty tissue on the tummy. Also dont keep injecting the same area as can build up a toughened area space out the sides of belly or leg being injected. You girls are so brave and doing so well and atleast after all this will get to hold your beautiful babies.

    Thanks Wobbler.

I'm okay now my belly still has some "grabbable" flab, but I'm a bit concerned how/where I'm going to be able to inject when it gets bigger

Check with ob/midwife if they are happy with injecting a thigh. Same goes for diabetics injecting insulin doesnt go well in hard pregnant tummies.

Lovely ladies, I have a question. Probably a TMI question but I need to ask!

I am 15w2d and have noticed kind of ongoing that I've had a bit of watery discharge...it's not necessarily every day, or much, but it's got me thinking, is this normal? Or is this my waters slowly leaking out?

I do drink quite a bit of water throughout the days, but it's doubtful that that's what is 'leaking'..

I have an OB appointment next Thursday so will bring it up with him, but just today it's got me thinking...

Nothing is TMI these days really munchkin lol. I have noticed some discharge occasionally, but it's more slippery than watery (and generally happens for a couple of days after dtd).

Maybe put your question on the general forum as well, maybe you'll get some more answers? Good you've got an Ob appt, but if you get too worried about it see if they can get you in earlier.

Yay on the little girl Arlais! How exciting! I can't wait to find out what we are having, secretly hoping the ob will be able to tell us at our appointment next week!

I haven't had anything like you're describing, munchkin, but definitely follow it up with your ob if you're concerned!
