    That's funny munchkin

In my case it's mostly because I've gone from someone being quite efficient and on the ball, to being quite vague, tired and spewy! I'm glad my work colleagues knew I was going through IVF and got pregnant so early - I would have had no chance in trying to hide it in a small office.

I can't wait for a bump either, I think bubs is just pushing my fat out at the moment lol.

My workmates guessed with me too munchkin. They thought I was either pregnant or seriously ill!

Finally went to the doc today and got a script for maxalon. Had a whole day of shopping planned with DH for house stuff, stopped to get some lunch but then struggled to eat anything, then I felt so dizzy & like I was going to chuck

Decided I'd had enough and got DH to take me to the GP clinic at the nearby hospital. Feeling so much better now after just one tablet! Still a bit queasy but a vast improvement. Even the doc told me off for trying to deal with it on my own and suffering needlessly. Fingers crossed the morning sickness doesn't hang around for too much longer though.

Hopefully you'll have some relief now Arlais!

Me on the other hand, I need to go pick up my Clexane tomorrow from hospital and thinking I might bring up the fact that I've had a headache on and off for about 2 weeks now! It's really starting to annoy me. Today was an amazing day weather wise and I've spent the day feeling sorry for myself... I'm so angry!!!

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend so far!

Good luck munchkin! Just remember with the injections it does get better as you go along. Make sure you give yourself some time afterwards, don't go rushing off to do anything. My first one felt like I'd been punched in the stomach which definitely caught me by surprise!

As for the headache, I've had one too for ages. Panadol doesn't do much for me unfortunately, but I've found it's better if I'm well hydrated. A heatpack on the back of my neck gives some relief too

Thanks Arlais!!! I will report back after middies do it today, and we do it tomorrow!

Headaches are so annoying. I had a heat pack on my neck for most of the day yesterday but again that didn't do much. It seems to still be around this morning but not as bad... I have acupuncture on Saturday next week so hoping that can fix things up!!! Hopefully tomorrow I can get in for a massage at work to try help things along too!

Just found out I have a Prothrombin Gene Mutation (clotting disorder) so I now have to be on Clexane until 36 weeks

At least they are proactive about it and found out before things went wrong. Which mutation is it?
If only I'd been on clexane last time I'd still be with you ladies. So frustrated - rang both special ob and gyno day of bfp to check about clexane and both said I didn't need it for the FVL, but then they found antibodies after bubs died and said I needed to be on it

Hi Little Ted, I'm so sorry to hear that they found out you should have been on clexane after the fact. I know it helps for next time, but I can't imagine how you feel knowing it possibly could have been prevented with the bub you just lost

The mutation is otherwise known as factor II - so one of the "nicer" clotting disorders to have. The gene mutation means I have about 30% more of a clotting protein in my blood than I should - so I'm 3 times more likely to get a serious blood clot than the average person.

Since I've been on the clexane and aspirin since my BFP there should be no problem for my bub, it's now to protect me as pregnancy elevates your risk of getting blood clots anyway. I'll also need to be on it for a few weeks after birth if I end up needing a caesarean to prevent potential DVTs.
