It was lovely how excited everyone was for us DH was actually really surprised how enthusiastic his family was about the news - apparently they never really got that excited about other babies, so he was quite taken aback at how pleased they all were!

After some phone calls we did FB announcements, no pics, just said in our own ways that we're expecting. Easiest way to let family overseas know the news. Kinda weird to know that it's out there now though after so many weeks of keeping it quiet!

Does everyone feel like their pregnancy is going quicker now? I felt like it was dragging but now I'm almost in the second tri I'm going "whoa! I'm going to have a baby soon, I have so much stuff to do!"

I was thinking the other day that it's all good, still have 6 months yet before the nursery has to be ready (using it for box storage at the moment), but then I worked out the other day that I only have 22 weeks left of work - so that seems like a whole lot less time figuring it out like that!

We were at a friend's 30th last night and it felt so strange to be able to tell people I'm pregnant. DH was beaming all over the place and dropping hints so people were asking LOL.

I'm almost weaned off the steroids I've been on to help suppress my immune system and I'm really happy that a lot of my bloating has gone down - I can almost do my jeans up properly again! I know that won't last long though. I've always had a bit of a belly but the lower part of it is just starting to get rounder...and some new stretch marks - can anyone recommend a good body moisturiser??

Why is it I go about 5 days without being sick, then I'm making up for it by being violently ill on the next day? So over hugging porcelain!
