Great to hear your ms is easing off Lilac! Mine is slowly receding too I hope - still feeling queasy most of the day, but no chucky since Monday

I'm getting my NT bloods done today Munchkin, then my scan on the 25th. When is your scan booked?

I've had this week off work getting stuff done for the new house, so more of that this weekend for us. The timber floors are down now and look amazing! All of our stuff arrives from storage on the 28th - considering we haven't had anything but our bedroom furniture for about 9 months it's going to be interesting having it all back again. We're going to use the nursery as a miscellaneous box room to begin with, which is good because it will stop me from getting too tempted to buy lots of baby stuff too early!

Hope everyone else is having a good week. A couple of ladies in my ivf thread sadly lost their bubs a couple of days ago, so I wish everyone else super sticky vibes xo

My scan is booked for 23rd - looking forward to it. But dreading it at the same time... I remember going to scans and appointments last time around. Totally carefree and no idea. This time I am worrying about each appointment and hurrying it along so I am see how everything's going in there. I might've said it in here previously, but my OB said I can go in there whenever I want for a scan, etc but I don't want to feel like a hassle, and plus, there's not that much that can be done if something is not right in there... And them I think, well I only have another week and a bit anyways til my scan so I'll be fine to just wait it out...

Sorry about the other losses in your IVF group Arlais, there's been a couple in the April FB group too unfortunately... So sad to see people go... Their hearts broken....

This is my first time being pregnant but with all it's taken to get here, plus being a bit too well informed I wonder whether I'll ever be able to enjoy this experience?

Like you munchkin I just feel all I'm ever doing is counting down to the next scan to know that everything is ok. Each week that goes by I get a little more confident that it will turn out fine, but I don't think I'll start to relax at all until we're at least past the first tri. I know getting past 12 weeks doesn't guarantee a take home baby, but it certainly makes it a much better possibility.

Good luck to everyone having scans soon! You forget what a hurdle 12weeks is until you are pregnant. Feels like I have been pg for ages already.

Better news from OB, my thyroid is settling so he feels it is a direct result of being pg not my autoimmune issues and I got to see bubs heartbeat 160bpm! Feel like I can breath a little easier... Due to a long cycle I am not due until 27th April even though my last period was 12thJuly. My scan is booked in for the 14/10 seems a long time away.
We told my parents yesterday who are In America until Oct and we will be telling DH mum tonight as she is heading home to Scotland on Monday.

Arlias - how exciting that you are getting your house set up, such a fun time!

Munchkin - your OB sounds very understanding. I understand your anxiety and have everything crossed for you.

Hi girls, just a quick check in! Hope you're all travelling well

Glad ms is easing up for some of you, mine came back with a vengence last weekend but seems to have settled back into just feeling blurgh in the evening. I can cope with that!

Good luck with your scans! Munchkin we'll be getting ours on Mon the 23rd too. Getting my bloods done Tuesday. Excited! Dh will come with me this time, just have to ask mil to look after Grace cos it'll be a couple of hours and we haven't told her yet. If this scan is all good I expect we'll rush home to tell her!

Three weeks today until I head to Paris BY MYSELF to see my sister for 10 days!!!! Can't wait! Looking forward to just hanging out at her place and, as much as I'll miss Grace, I'm looking forward to not having to do any bedtime routines or having my day revolve around her needs!

So I was going to be quick, but there you go! Have a great weekend girls

Jessy I'm so jealous you're off to Paris! I adore France and would love to live there if both DH & I could get work somewhere. Each time I've left there I've cried

Every time I think my morning sickness is getting better it comes back with a vengeance - I'm really over it! I've suddenly gained 2kgs too in only a week or so despite being sick I know that we're supposed to gain weight, but I hate seeing those scales go up and really want to minimize it as much as possible as I was already overweight to begin with.

Arlais I feel your pain with the ms. I really hope it settles for you soon! How exciting to get all your furniture back too!

Wobbler hope your appt goes well this week!
Frangi so glad you got to see the HB! Hope it all continues to go well!
Jessy I'm so jealous! I've never been to Paris! Definitely on my list though! Hope you have a great time!
    Everyone else

AFM double digits today so close to that 12 week mark! We should be telling our parents in the next 2 weeks. Next OB appointment in just over a week and NT scan booked for Oct 4. Oh and very excited cause we picked our girl name this morning! So we have both names now! We won't be telling anyone till they are born though.

Is everyone planning on making their news public as soon as they hit 12 weeks, or are you wanting to wait a little longer??
