Hoping our youngest is on the mend - just had a quiet weekend just in case, but I did get the bulk of my assignment done...well the stressful part anyway.

Have scan tomorrow and have left waxing my legs until now. I have a retroverted uterus so it will definitely be an internal.
Good luck tomorrow hoping you see a wonderful strong heartbeat.

Hope you don't have to use the clexane for too much longer, it is a good thing to always swap sides as you can get a toughened area where you jab otherwise and never rub after the injection as that will cause bigger bruises, generally you should have no marks from the injection just a dot, easier i know if someone else is doing it.

I'm lucky that my DH does the injections for me. I swap sides each day but I'm on aspirin as well which I think doesn't help with the bruising

From my understanding it swings the other way, so not as clear a picture using external u/s. Internal even at 8 weeks too before. Though I know my 12 weeks scans have been external.

They usually still start with an external though...then empty.

Wobbler - I think there is someone else tomorrow too - I have the feeling they are further along than me though.

Glad your mum made your exit easy yesterday...and ignore your aunt - she sounds as though she has no idea about shift work or nursing. Either of those two things are difficult in themselves.

hope your blood tests are all good. When i had mine last week GP didn't say anything about letting me know how they were but some were non pregnancy tests. Atleast by the time i see him and practice nurse.again will have had my scan.

Waiting to hear about Little Teds scan and every other Ladies. HAve fingers crossed they all go smoothly

Hope bloods come back with encouraging news Munchkin.

Thank you for all your thoughts ladies. It's great to have support. Had scan. I guess I was a little over-hopeful of getting a hb. Thinking I am 6+1. The lady did pre-warn me that there might not be one there. There is a gest sac in the right place and a yolk sac (measuring .77 and .4 respectively), but I couldn't see anything more than that. The sonographer wouldn't give me an indication of dates-for-size, but she did seem concerned over something and wanted the ob-gyn to look at it but he wasn't there. I was hoping for foetal pole - she didn't mention this. Feeling a bit blurgh! Going back in two weeks.
