    Default Childs birth certificate

How long does is usually take till it is posted out? My bub is almost 3 months and I sent the paper work off about when he was 4 weeks and they direct debited the money from my account almost immediately but I still haven't received anything in the mail. I live in qld btw. I'm just worried because we move this weekend and I am going to do a mail redirection. Should I call them and ask?

    I would call and check.

I got ds1's about 3-4 weeks after sending the forms in and paying.

As others have said, call and check because I have had 4 birth certificates for my kids from varying states (Qld included) and none of them have come back later than 3-4 weeks.

Yep give them a call. We still hadn't got ours 4 weeks after we paid and lodged, so I called them. Turns out it wasn't processed properly :-/ The lady fixed it up and we got it two days later.

Sounds like something has gone wrong at their end. Give them a call and they'll be able to look into it.
