Are you feeling very overwhelmed and shocked? I know I did with my DS2 as it took nearly 2 years to fall with him. Had to keep pinching myself in case it was all a dream

I am definitely feeling shocked that it seems to have finally happened. It honestly feels too good to be true at the moment. We just exchanged contracts on our block of land, DH found out he doesn't have huntingtons, one of my sisters found out she is unexpectedly pregnant and now us finally. So I guess I'm just worried that it's not possible for things to actually fall in place so well.

Thanks for the tips on the scans ladies, I will be seeing my dr tomorrow so hopefully can get a referral. I'll probably aim for 7-8 then and just try to make it when DH is off around then. Really can't wait for that part

Aww your BFP came at an awesome time! I hope you can enjoy this special time and it totally sounds like it was long-awaited and very well deserved

It sounds like things are falling into place. I hope the next few weeks go really quickly for you. Keep peeing on sticks, I found that was the only way I had to reassure myself that I was actually pregnant (I even bought a bunch of ICs after I got my BFP)

Hahaha yes I have used 4 frers in total now and one ic. I have a few more ics left so will definitely be using them. Fx we are just lucky to have everythinb happen like this rather than it being too good to be true xxx

YAY!! I was just coming on to see if you'd heard back that's super exciting!! I have my dating scan booked in for Saturday I will be between 7-8 weeks. I had mine with Aurora at 6weeks and 2 days and only saw a sac so went back a week later and saw the heartbeat! Makes it so much more real when you see that beautiful little heart pumping away

At my first scan, I didn't hear the heartbeat , but saw it flickering on the screen. I don't think I actually heard it until my 12 week scan (I think). If is such a special moment when you see it though

Ok so had my doctors appt. He said everything looks great at this stage. It's still really early but he said my vitamin levels are all normal (iron was very good apparently thanks to elevit) and my hcg levels were at 78 which he said was in the normal range for someone 4-5 wks along. So very happy with that He gave me the referral for a scan at 8wks too and gave me a flu shot. So feeling a little better, now just to wait until the scan
