Default Strange baby movements - almost like shaking?

I hope this question makes sense, I don't quite know how to describe it!

I'm 28 weeks and for the last week or so every now and again I feel the strangest movements from bub, it's almost like she's shaking or vibrating? It never lasts long, maybe 5-10 seconds and then she'll go back to normal kicks.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I'm seeing my Ob on Thursday so I'll ask her then but just wanted to check here first, it's freaking me out a bit.

Yes! I had that exact same feeling in my last trimester. Sometimes it would happen several times in a row. It almost felt like bubs was quivering or almost having a fit. I asked 3 doctors and only one had heard of it before but he said it was nothing to worry about.

I am 37 weeks and get those every now and then!! Definitely not hiccups like pp suggested. I always forget to ask about it when I have my appointments as I figure it's just another one of those weird things. But I would also describe it as like a vibrating fit and it lasts about 5-10 seconds like you've said. I am actually going to google now lol

Hmm, well I'm still not sure exactly what it is but there are a lot of others out there that have had the feeling as well. I never had it with my previous pregnancy. Let us know what your OB says

It's definitely different to hiccups. My son used to get hiccups a lot, but this didn't feel anything like hiccups.
