Unhappy How much formula should a 6 week old drink? Help!

My son drinks 100ml per feed.. But seems to be hungry 1.5hrs later during thre day.. I'm thinking about starting him on 150mls but am worried this will give him a stomach ache.. Help!

If the 150ml is too much, he either won't drink it or will vomit up what he doesn't need, it wont hurt him. You could make up an extra 100mL bottle in the morning and give him an extra 20ml at each feed (so 120ml) - it saves you wasting 50mL if he doesn't drink the whole extra 50mL.

How heavy is he? A rough guide for volume is
Weight x 150 then divide by how many feeds on 24 hours.
    Eg.. if bub is 4kg
    4 x 150 = 600.
Then divide by 6 feeds in 24 hours which is 100mls per feed.
This may fluctuate depending on time of day though and the guide on the tin is just a guide.
I used to make up a little extra for the day and keep in the fridge. . and then offer more in a feed if bub seemed hungry.
