Yup, scary close. 38 weeks today.

Update from yesterday's midwife apt. Bub is currently posterior, so have been doing lots of bouncing on the gym ball and hands and knees leaning over beanbags etc.

Also I got results from GBS swab and found out it came back positive for Strep B, so that kinda sucks. Will have to go to hospital as soon as waters break and potentially higher risk of induction or interventions of some sort. But no big deal in the end, sure it'll all be fine.

Yep on mat leave and loving it although chasing around a 2 year old is much harder then being at work sitting on my bum haha

39 weeks today. Bub was 3/5 above yesterday at checkup.

I'm just cruising over here. I could do this for another couple of weeks and this stage. It's only the occasional pain from bub sitting right on something down there that makes me double over and try to get him/her to move. And that's only on occasion.

I don't have noticeable BH or anything. So I kinda feel like nothing much is happening and I could go over. BUT I am also aware that some people don't get warning. So I'm ready either way.

As much as I say I'm cruising, I can't imagine doing this with a toddler! I can only imagine how tiring it must be.

I've been napping so much the last week or so.

I hope you are finding some time to relax! Does your 2yo still nap?

Life is amazing. We've had our screaming moments due to constipation but he is going so well now. He has gained 700gm since birth, my little piglet
