Shelby - 6 weeks is still VERY early. My FS wouldnt allow h/b scans before 7 weeks because of that reason (it can cause unnecessary stress) in fact I had to BEG to get scans done at 7 1/2 weeks, they prefer them at 8. The h/b should gradually increase over the next few weeks

Yeah true I keep telling myself that it's very positive that I saw a heartbeat so early, and I didn't even have to have an internal.

My FS didn't mention BPM. My scans were both just in his office and he just said all looked good. We were just excited to see the flicker. And he seemed happy, so we are happy.

Sorry for the late catch up - we are away camping ATM.

Just wanted to say welcome to Shelby. It's so nice to see that you've had a good scan. Don't stress about the heart rate. Like the others have said, they start low and build up. I had a scan at 6+1 and I think the heart rate was around 100 and then the next scan it was up to 170 so they do rapidly go up. Stay away from Dr Google!!!

    Hope everyone is doing well

Shelby been thinking of you, fx your little bean is growing stronger every day!!

AFM - Im doing well, cant believe Im nearly at the end of this pregnancy now! Eeeeek!!!!! 34 week OB appt tomorrow. Appt isnt with my normal OB, its with the other one she works with. Fx I get to have a scan (I had appt with her at 34 weeks with DD and she did a scan so Fx its the same this time!) I havent had a growth scan or anything so would be good to see bubs, and DD asks every time we go to see baby and gives my normal OB a lecture whenever we dont

Waiting - I can't believe you are 34 weeks already!!! It only seems like yesterday that you got your bfp. Fx you get a scan this week. My ob scans everytime so I'm very lucky I hope you are enjoying your maternity leave.

Shelby - how are you going? Hope all is progressing well and you are feeling good.

    Hi to everyone else.

AFM 23+2 today. I can't believe how fast time is going. We made some good progress on clearing out the study to transform it into the nursery on the weekend. Now to paint and put in new carpet and then baby stuff can move in I'm feeling good still - no more nausea or tiredness but definitely getting sore when I overdo things. Here's my 23 week bump pic. Cute bump nic!

    Cautiously optimistic for u Shelby!

Just had 34 week appt and got a scan much to DDs delight! Bubs is measuring ahead at 35 weeks but fluid levels are low. OB has booked an extra appt next week and I have to drink bucketloads of water between now and then.....
