Ftm - that's awesome weight loss! Particularly having a big loss last week. That's great.

I understand, between my two kids, I lost 24kgs over the course of a year. It's a little weight loss, each week, that adds up!

300gm loss for me this week which I'm fairly happy with considering the shocker week I had. Not sure if that's only because I weighed myself earlier in the day or not though....

Well done on your losses ladies!!!

Back on track this week for me! Fruit and yoghurt with a roasted seed sprinkle for beaky this morning. Tea for a snack. Still yet to decided on lunch, I might do up a quick Thai pumpkin soup, and dinner will be leftover cottage pie with sweet potato crust, and a green salad.

This weeks goal, drink more water!! I drink so much tea I'm sure it's causing water retention! Also, less tea!! My brothers a crossfit trainer and has got a full set up in his garage so I might try get there to get him to start training me, although last time I was there I couldn't even lift the bar 😔 so if that fails I'll just have to keep walking!

wikidwitch - Well done on resisting ice cream Sounds like you're doing well, keep it up.

SoThisIsLove - I'm lucky, I'm not really a fan of Oreos so that's not a problem for me haha. I find another good trick is to have the chewy sugarfree mint lollies. One of those in the evening stops me from wanting to snack and still gives me that sweetness that I'm craving.

angelini - Way to go! 1.1kg is fantastic!!!

AFM - As I said earlier, looks like the lack of calories is the most likely culprit for my reduced milk supply, because my supply seems to have improved overnight. It's frustrating, because I was losing weight nicely and was happy with the results. That being said I'm not willing to risk my supply drying up entirely so I'll just have to suck it up and keep eating more.
I had a gain of 700g overnight () but I think it was because we had home made pizzas for dinner with olives and feta. Salt overload! I'm hoping that drinking plenty of water today sees a good drop tomorrow and that it's all fluid retention.
I did have a piece of cake at lunch time and yoghurt for dessert that I didn't really need but it was all in the interests of increasing my supply I swear! And it seemed to do the job. Now I just have to find the right balance to keep losing weight and not risk my supply. If that means only losing 100-200g a week I'll have to take that one on the chin.
You need to have more than 1200, but no more than 1700. If baby is exclusively bf and not on solids, I would say try 1700, if on solids, try and aim for 1500.

Here is an example of my meal plan for a day:

I'm so disappointed in myself. I only lost 300 gms this week

    A total of 1.3 kg's in 2 weeks
But FTM... That's more than a pack of butter! Imagine holding a pack of butter. Now consider that there is that much fat gone from your body! 300g is AWESOME!!!

I'm going to amp it up to 1600-1800 and see what happens. I seem to remember that at around 1700 I stay stable so if 1600 sees me lose I'll be happy, even if it's only a small amount each week.
I've spent such a long time carefully balancing my diet that I tend to forget that the scales have changed thanks to breastfeeding. I tend to maintain at about 1300-1400 calories non-lactating so I'll just have to remind myself that I need to eat at least 300 cals more than that.

Went to buy myself some new shoes to encourage me to exercise ... But the ones I liked weren't in my size - so I bought new workout clothes instead!! Haha

I managed 32mins of insanity (with DS1 jumping alongside me) before DS2 decided to eject the DVD.... I don't have a remote and couldn't be bothered waiting the 32mins (or redoing the whole thing) so just left it there. I'm also in the process of meal prepping for dinners/lunches. I already have healthy pumpkin soup and prawn stir fry now I've got 6 serves of clean chicken korma and I'm just steaming some veg to go with it.

Pretty good day all round today.

B/fast - oats, chobani, banana, cinnamon (this is an almost every day thing for me)

    Lunch - chicken korma

    Snack - tea and dates

Dinner - grilled lamb with steamed veg

    Snack - watermelon

    How is everyone else going??
