MCB - when I was suffering from leg cramps, I would get them first thing in the morning before I went to bed. I was told to leg stretches before going to bed each night for a couple of minutes each side - didn't get them again! I also suspect that it was the iron tablets I was taking, so stopped taking them. However, I find that throughout the day I am doing the calf stretches put of habit as it makes my legs feel good and never had a problem.
Also, while having a cramp, the way to stop them was to flex the foot backwards and forwards. Hope that helps? They are so horrible! I would limp for days if I had just one, being that I was having them every morning, it was horrible!!

Toni - can I just say a massive thank you and give you a hug!! I didn't think of it like that! I have no idea what labour will be like, so of course I will question it!!! Thank you for making me feel better

    MrsLA - looking fabulous!!!

Kelly, congrats on making 12 weeks!!

Michelle I hope the leg cramps pass. Enjoy your morning out.

MissX you are welcome. One of the most frustrating things I found was people's inability to remember that when its your first time you have no idea what labour is like and therefore every unusual twinge is questioned as possible labour. For me early labour was like really bad period cramps but like my period pain my labour pain was in my back.

    MrsLA, you look fantastic

MissX, it is hard knowing what labour feels like, until you're going through it. I questioned every pain and cramp. Boy did I know when I was in labour, but I was induced and went from no pain to contractions 2 mins apart, as soon as my waters were broken. I doubt I'll know early labour next time either, cos I didn't have it with this one

    FTM, Vale is so cute

Just Had my first scan. Last night was terribly stressful and I got myself so worked up about there not being a heartbeat that I woke up this morning with a massive headache... Measuring two days ahead so smack on 8 weeks, which is the same day we first had a scan with Skye...

Such a relief to know that everything is all fine, for now anyways!

Wonderful Munchkin! I know that sense of relief and how wonderful it feels....

Thanks lil Smurfy - all I kept thinking yesterday was that I wasn't feeling any pressure on my pelvis or canal and I expect I would feel some kind if pressure. Lately if I don't sit right, I get some an awful feeling in my butt (sorry TMI) but I would expect it to feel something like that! It is quite unbearable that boy do i jump! Haha
