Our baby girl (yet to be named) was born at 9.11pm and weighed 6lb 15oz. It was extremely quick and shocked everyone. I had no pain relief however I did need forceps as her heart rate dropped. This resulted in a third degree tear which went through to my rectum so I had to have surgery to repair it and a spinal block for this.

we're now doing well but bub has a bruised head. Due to my surgery I'll be in for a couple of days. will post picture and more info when i can.

Congratulations Bond!!! You did it. Well done for not having pain relief. Given how late she was, she wasn't very big. That was quite a tear, I hope your recovery is quick. Can't wait to see pics and find out her name. That was very quick labour.

Congratulations Bond!!!! So glad your little one is here. Hope you heal quickly. Do they have you on something like metamucil already?

Do you also have a shower head you can take off at home? If not, decor tomato sauce bottle is great with some saline (salt) solution for cleaning down there. Filled with warm water, not cold! Also good to clean after going to the bathroom.
