Squiggs: glad having your mum there is going so well.

LittleTed: hope the next 2 weeks go quickly.

MsFaery: glad you are keeping busy.

Michelle: happy anniversary and happy birthday :-)

Bond: yay for a great appt. Fx labour starts overnight.

Appt with Pead went well. River's milk intolerance is minor so I need to try introduce dairy every few weeks until she stops reacting. This means the screaming is colic :-( also have some stronger meds for the thrush

So glad things are looking up...or soon to be coming out, Bond.
After having VBACs, I highly recommend them, particularly when having to look after other children at the same time. So I think it is great that you are waiting for them to come out. I bounced back so much quicker. They can manually induce you before breaking the waters - have they talked to you about this? They insert a balloon catheter and open the cervix that way (they send you home overnight with it in). I know our hospital had a pamphlet on it as DD came 1 day before I was booked in for this, but don't have it now sorry.

Very positive apt Bond. I hope you go into labour soon. I admire you for waiting as long as you need to have the birth you want. Hope the ob listens to you and your midwife! All the best. Patiently waiting for your news

Squiggs, I hope you are feeling well. That's great you've got your mum there with you

MCB, happy anniversary and happy birthday

Lil Ted, I hope the next 2 weeks go quickly for you

MissFaery, sounds like you're keeping busy. Enjoy your maternity leave. Not long to go

Bond, your appointment sounded positive. Your midwife sounds fantastic. Sounds like your bub is a little stubborn. C'mon baby Bond, we're all eagerly awaiting your arrival.

How is everyone else going? Your pregnancies all seem to be going so quickly.

Well a very uneventful night here! No action as yet so not sure bub wants to respond to the sweep. Kinda disappointed but that's ok, its not like I've got anything else to do!

Little Ted- no my midwife hasn't talked about the catheter so not sure they offer it. But will definitely ask her when she calls! Thanks for the tip and for the reassuring info re. your VBACs.

Also I really appreciate everyone's support and positive labour vibes for me atm.

Toni- really pleased River's paed appointment went well and you have a plan for re introducing dairy. Must be so hard to see her in pain.

    How is everyone else today?

Its great that while frustrating you are able to (im)patiently wait for your little girl. Hope she gets bored inside soon and makes an appearance.

Bond - it's so great you are standing your ground for the birth you want. I desperately wanted a VBAC for this pregnancy so completely understand where you are coming from. Be strong at your apt. I hope bubs comes soon and you won't have to deal with OBs trying to push you to do something you don't want to do.

I think I felt one of the bubs kick last night. I am feeling it this AM too. It's in the same spot so pretty sure it's not gas. So exciting!!

Yay Squiggs! Probably was a bub! They're going to run out of room soon enough

I'm 26 weeks today less than 100 days until my due date (98 to be precise )

When does the third trimester start? I've heard both 27 and 28 weeks...

Bond your midwife sounds totally awesome I really admire your determination to get the birth you want. I hope it all happens soon. Your girl must be super comfy!

    Hello everyone else!
