However I didn't find out in order to deal with that, I found out because I wanted to be able to call my baby by his/her name, and bond with him as the boy he is

I wrote out the envelopes for my baby shower invites today. Just have to print them out and send!
This is exactly how I feel, Rainbow, and why I wanted to find out bubs gender both times. Could have written all that myself! I have to admit I would have been slightly disappointed at first if I found out i was having another boy this time, just because I wanted a girl too. But it would only have lasted a very short time and would just mean i would go on to have a third bub to try for that girl.

I am sure I would feel different though if I had more complex fertility issues.

Miss X- Might be easier to go in person to centre link and sort it out and find out what your CRN is. or call them. Can be so confusing online!

Looking great Rainbow and love your artwork!

Thanks Bond - I have figured it all out - but it was very confusing and even the way they asked some questions, was worried I hadn't done it right, but seems to be done and now just waiting for bub to be born!

Looking great Rainbow! Love the artwork too, very creative

Miss X - it was all very confusing for me too. And so many bloody questions! Like Toni said I also thought I didn't have to fill out the papers they give you in hospital and turned up at Medicare only to have to come back after I'd filled it all in.

Just jumping in quickly to say channy I understand your comment. Especially when we have friends In here who have lost angels. It is good to hear others insights into feelings about gender to help us understand.

Bond hope you are holding up ok. Have been thinking of you.

Welcome munchkin - I have read your posts around the hub and am wishing you the most straightforward pregnancy and delivery.

Okay best attend to my little man! :-) hope everyone else is well!

    Rainbow you look awesome.

Channy it is so hard to misinterpret the written word. I know you must feel relieved noone was offended

Bond I hope you are well.

I feel like a terrible mummy tonight. River was fussing and not eating properly early and screaming so we thought she was just cranky. DP took her so I could sleep for an hour. Tried feeding her again. Git frustrated and DP asked if it was the teat. I checked it and it was blocked. Poor bubba was hungry and couldn't eat :-(

That's happened to me before Toni and also took me ages to work out the teat was blocked. It doesn't make you a bad mum! Its so hard to work it out! Hope River settled down when she finally got her feed.

Awe Toni anyone could make that mistake! I'm sure I did it when I was nannying once too!

Here's a pic for anyone curious:
