    Thanks for the welcome everyone! Thanks for adding me to the tracking. It's my bday this friday .. So I've got a big weekend involving lots of wine and food so doubt I'll lose any but we will see. Start Weight: 65.8 Goal weight: 62kg by end of the year - Is anyone doing any particular diet or just watching what they eat? Ive been doing clean eating for about a month now (with the occassional sweet thing/takeway night ) but haven't really seen much difference with my weight, I just feel better i.e more energy, sleeping better, clear skin, so I think I might look into doing some type of diet...

    Hello to all our newbies welcome to the party!
    Clean eating is the best way to lose weight. "Diets" are short term fixes that don't help keep the weight off, you need to incorporate a lifestyle chance. If you're not noticing enough action with your clean eating try doing a bit of cardio, even just once a week. Weight resistance is an amazing tool also as despite popular belief you will not become Arnold Schwarzenegger lol and having a higher muscle percentage actually makes ur body burn fat more efficiently.

    hey Jen.
    I was a chubby teenager but lost 15kgs when I was 18 and have managed (within a few kgs) to keep I off.
    I go really old school when it comes to weight loss. Just super low fat and snack on things like yoghurt, nuts and fruit. I will also drink skim milk as a snack and go for a walk everyday.
    Your goal is very achievable so I don't think you need to make drastic changes. Sounds like you are on the right track already

    Okay ladies - I have updated the goals Let me know if you wanted to add anything else!!

    I'm not really sure what to try for weight loss because I have quite a bit to lose! At the moment I feel like my body is storing everything I manage to eat because it still hurts to swallow. I'm only really eating once a day. I'm hoping by next week I will be able to eat normally and start exercising again.

    On another note, I'm not so sure about this clean eating thing.... I've been washing my chocolate for over a week now before eating and I haven't seem ANY changes!!

    Welcome to our little abode Jen & Darla

    Darla, there's a couple of us that will be looking at a similar age gap as yourself. Dd is currently 16.5mths so *if* I can hang put that long and it happens quickly, we will have about a 2.5yr gap

    Michelle, I have a 2.5 age gap between me and my siblings. I think it's just perfect I've only just gotten to the point where I can imagine being able to manage two! I feel as if I'm going to be so much wiser this time around (in terms of the birth, and a young baby etc). I hope it happens quickly for all of us!
