Default What dosage works for you?

I've been taking Zoloft for 3 weeks and feel no better

I'm only on 50mg but I was hoping it would work or at least help...I'm seeing my dr this week for a review.

What dosage works for you? Getting worried that nothing is going to help!

I think it took around 4 weeks for me to start feeling better.. I was on 50mg for quite a while but found that I still struggled. I increased my dose to 100mg a few months ago and I feel much better! I finally feel normal.
Speak to your GP tomorrow. You can even see a psychiatrist to help you find the right meds.

When I was first on meds (not zoloft) I was started on a fairly low dosage, and after 2 weeks there was no change, it was doubled, and wow life really felt normal again.

Definitely get the dosage upped for a while to see if that helps before you write it off as not working. It's really common to have to mess about with meds for a little while before getting it exactly right.

    All the best.

I find that only a low dose works for me. Upping the dose only seems to exacerbate my issues. I tried going from 50mg to 100mg of zoloft and felt like i was in a constant state of panic. I was teary all the time and just depressed in general i spose.

I had a similar reaction when going to a higher dose when on lexapro too.
