    3 boys, 9,7 and 4.

They help me sort out all the washing and put their own away in their rooms. They help to hang the washing out on weekends.
They do dishes. They help stack firewood. They will sometimes vaccuum.
We all get in and tidy the bedrooms.

My older two are getting into cooking a bit, they can do fried eggs, and I'm teaching them to cook sausages, and steak (I am opting out of cooking red meat as soon as I can, as I don't eat it!) and making salads.
They are both learning how to milk the cow.

No pocket money, as it is all about mucking in as a family, and getting everything done for the benefit of everyone.

However, fairly regularly we will go to a shop and they can pick a book each to buy.

And treats like Pizza or F & C, movies etc are pretty much rewards for being helpful.
