He was 21 when we fell with the twins. He smoked and would drink on the weekends. It took us 4 cycles to fall.

We're TTC now and he's 24, doesn't smoke, and only drinks on occasions. We just started our 3rd cycle.

    Just my bit to share:

He was 21, but we waited to try because he had been deployed to Afghanistan for 6 months the year before. And we were unsure of the radiation consequences. Turned out no problems. He was healthy, non smoker and fit for work (gym daily).

I was 25, never smoked and rarely drank (apart from red wine) also relatively fit. But I had not been on any contraception for about 18months and we used to rhythm method successfully in that time (curious if this was in our favour when TTC). Bubs happened first time we TTC. - we both ate really healthy diets.

DP is 32 will be 33 before bub is born. I was 30 when we conceived 31 now. Both were pretty active in our "younger"years. DP has gotten back into his fitness since we have been pregnant. Think it is more so he can get out of the house away from my mood swings though :-P

My Dp was 42 and I was 36 when we became pregnant with our first. I am in the obese weight range. At the time we conceived I was an ex-smoker of two years. We conceived on our first cycle. This conception business can be cruel at times. It makes no sense that I conceived so easily...I have been bad to my body. We are now on to our third cycle trying to conceive our second...but it maybe that the extra 19 months or so has made a big difference...so I am preparing myself for a long journey...and the possibility that my Ds may be an only child...given my difficulties maintaining a healthy weight + my age I need to count myself lucky.

DF is 23 next month, 21 when we conceived.

Drank like a fish as most 21 year olds do, very healthy weight but didn't eat well and a non-smoker. He wasn't at the gym everyday when we were TTC but he used to be. We were both heavily into the partying scene (alcohol/weed) when we conceived. Didn't quite think it would be as quick as it was (3 weeks).

DF is 27, used to smoke pot but quit we fell accidentally and I missed a couple of contraception pills.

He wasn't over weight at the time, drinks about a carton a fortnight. Eats well. He put weight on during our pregnancy though ☺I'm 23
