    Hey ladies... Brief update

Not good news unfortunately, sacs had collapsed on scan and the endometrium didnt look quite right. Fs said worst case scenario it could be the beginning of a hydatidiform mole but i dont think my hcg was ever high enough for that to be the case so I'm not thinking about that at the moment. I started misoprostal yesterday which seems to have started the ball rolling ending the pregnancy.... May still need a d&c next week depending on how things go ...

Although not what I hoped for, my women's intuition had already given me the answer and I am now in a good place in terms of accepting the situation. I went to see an endocrinologist who doubled the dose food thyroxine my FS had commenced and so feeling a bit better about getting the levels right for my new goal of FET mid November.

Thanks for all the support ladies, as I'm sure you all know, it really does make a difference. X

Butterfly-I'm so sorry you have to go through this difficult time. I hope your next cycle is the one for you.
It makes me realise though that we certainly are a tough bunch of women, with what we have to go through to get the ultimate prize. There was an article in The Guardian online during the week that put the stresses of ivf on par with chemotherapy. If only people in the wider population realised this.

Butterfly so sorry about your news. Take care and wish this wasn't so hard for you.

AFM started bleeding heavily so know the answer as was expecting a bfn. We have to decide whether we can squeeze one moe cycle in as may be very close to Christmas and don't know if we have to change our protocol when we are getting eggs and fertilisation.

    Good luck kenta!

I can relate to feeling premenstual, am not ivfing but am 10dpo and bin crying.., rather sobbing for half an hour. Poor DH copped it...we have new tenants in our unit and they have bin there less than a month and already complaining...seriously...about paint...how much could it have deteriorated in 1 month since they decided they wanted to move in. DH wants to jump to their attention and spend $1000 to make them happy and all I could think was how much out of my ivf that will be and yeh...make them happy after 4 weeks but forget what i have wanted for 25 years! Also how long will it take to save that money...again...tic toc. I am not that stingy really..it is a tax deduction but thats so far away and did i mention they have bin there less than a month thats the part that annoyed me. Hubby is ****ed off with me and hes like...if that stops ivf then we cant afford it in the first place so I went and cried while I watered the garden. I know we dont have much money... for that reason I have to try to get my bmi down to 35 just so I can get in to springwood clinic...24kgs it seems like everything is against me before I even get a chance

Oh pls let it be pregnant hormones and not pms and if it is..not ectopic

    BFN this morn btw..

Sorry for boring you with that I just feel miserable, for everyone...how on earth will I handle ivf

Yes I want to sell the unit...DH does not, prob smart as we prob just break even what we owe

Butterfly, I'm so sorry to hear your newsHope you can be kind to yourself this weekend, and maybe get some TLC from your DH.

Kenta, sorry to hear about the BFN

Fingers, hope you are feeling better soon.

MrsMac, good luck with the weight loss, it's tough, but have every confidence those kg will come off!

Went for another round of BT and dildocam this morning. Have got a decent crop of follies 10-18mm, and the leading ones are still there are 24mm + surprisingly enough. Back again for more BT and dildocam tomorrow

Butterfly so sorry to read your update love - a big special hug for you lovely - what a s****y thing to happen. You sound so resilient - make sure you do something lovely for yourself over this weekend.
A big hug for you too Kenta - bloody BFN's suck - and I hear you on the planning of future cycles, my online calendar is marked with Approx FET start, Approx Transfer dates etc well into the New Year. I think DH and I will be having a big talk tonight about our time line for using Donor eggs as we have to make a decision soon whether to take leave over Xmas or store it up for a possible DE trip.

Springy - sounds like you have a good haul in there - reading your post made me remember my dream last night! I dreamed that I had to go for a dildo cam and DH came with me and the nurse was busy and told him to do it! It was pretty funny in the dream as he had no idea what he was doing and was using a rubber glove and I was laughing hysterically with my feet up in stirrups (My god I have some stupid dreams sometimes!). Anyway - enough of that - all the best for a good scan tomorrow I'll be checking in on you.

    Em x
