Threegoes-I'm so sorry. Were you on a high dose of fsh, sorry I can't remember. Maybe a different type of cycle might be better for you. Is your specialist willing to mix it up a bit?
Springrain - sounds like you have a good number of follies there. Good luck on the upcoming egg pickup.
ann- I'm on clexane and pessaries till week 12. Yay! it's getting closer and I'm over clexane. Some nights it kills and other nights I don't feel much. I never know what I'm going to get with bloody clexane. I'm in Melbourne and have booked with a private obstetrician. Yes it s expensive. Unfortunately the big chunks of money are charged at the later weeks, which will be next calendar year. So wont have the nice big Medicare reimbursements. My first appointment with him cost me only $40 after Medicare. But hey it's all a drop in the ocean after ivf.
    Butterfly how are you going?

    Hi Ladies

Fingerscrossed sorry to hear about your BFN.
Ann glad to hear things are progressing for you!
Threegoes - that's **** when that happens - my thoughts are with you - especially the fact that you're at work! I'm currently doing a boost/flare cycle. I'm on 300 Gonal in the morning and 150 Menopur at night - Synarel x am/pm, triggering with pregnyl... I did it a boost/flare last cycle too - I got 9 eggs but had crap fertilisation rate of only 1 surviving (we tried standard fertilisation). This time around we are doing HA-ICSI as well to hopefully help with fertilsation rates. We'll see how we go.
Hello lovely Springy - I hope you're feeling better from your cold - nothing worse than having all the IVF stuff going on and then to have some other illness on top of that! Good to hear you have a few lead follicles - good planning too with EPU on a weekend! Mine are always mid-week and I need a couple of days off work!
Mrs P how are you doing? MrsErinR? Kenta, Bertie?
This thread moves too quickly for me sometimes (must be getting old)
Hello to all our lurkers too - we know you're there

AFM - 6 days into my boost/flare - a few twinges and what not... first scan Monday - with EPU currently slated somewhere around Wed/Thurs. I'm oddly calm with this cycle given it's my last go, I thought I'd be feeling more desperate but not so. Still have a frostie on ice too so guess I'll have a medicated FET somewhere in my future.

    Em x

    Thanks again everyone
TeamPanda, im sure my FS will be open to anything as he threw it all at this cycle just gone.... My protocol is below. Have you got any ideas i can explore with him?
Emski72 what protocols have you been on prior to the 300 gonal with menopur & synarel? I was on 600 gonal, orgalutran, saizen, prednisone & testogel but this cycle went to 750 puregon, with menopur, saizen, orgalutran, prednisone & testogel & Elonva. My AMH is 7.1.
The next cycle will be my last one too... I hope with everything your epu will deliver amazing little googie eggs & you won't need your last try

Threegoes and Emski- I just realised Cycle 7 was a Boost/Flare cycle for me. I had the gonal f, menopaur and saizen 150 each at night, and synarel twice day. Then clexane, prednisolone, crinone, pessaries, melatonin. Oh yeah I also had an endometrial scratch. I really threw everything at it. Unfortunately for me it didn't work but my fs said a lot of girls have success with it. It's worth trying different protocols.
Threegoes do you take melatonin? I took it for 4 weeks prior to transfer.

Threegoes - iam so sorry for your terrible news, I really feel for you and yes I can see that you have done a combo of drugs, I have been on those combos too. Have tried Luveris?

Panda - you are so right about those clexane you just never know! It stings and itchy for me. Is your tummy bruised, mines terrible ! I think I going to stretch it to week 12 too. So did you do all the other stuff like provera, Progynova , etc? In terms of the pmf could you not pay them this year to get the rebate or it doesn't work that way? But even of we paid next yr with pmf over $2500 we wld still cross the safety net threshold so wld get back max (which isn't much anyway ) from Medicare, I think for the Ob iam looking at is just under $300 rebate.

Springy - iam the same way, just started another bout of flu n fever. The first one I had during epu, second after I got my bfp now this round three. I have never had my immune so low ! Yes I was holding onto my coughs during the prove scan! Ouch! Happy jabbing and good luck for epu.

Em- calm is good, lets try this approach to huh ! Hoe things go monthly for you.

Butterfly- how are going hun? Thinking of you.

Hello everyone - Wow - moving fast on here in last 24 hours.

Fingerscrossd11.... very sorry to hear about your chemical. All we want is to catch a break xx

ThreeGoes.... very sorry also to hear that your two eggies weren't good :-( I did the "flare" protocol for my first two cycles at Next Gen. It's basically a short protocol.

Luca... good to hea that you're going to start another cycle next week. I thought you were going to take DHEA for a couple of months? I haven't used it before, but others seems to say good things about it helping.

So sorry fingerscrossed – chemicals are the worst assomething happened but then stopped and no one can say why…

Panda – TWEB is “the world egg bank”. When is your 12 week scanwith Lynn…?

Threegoes – sorry to hear what happened…

Spring rain – good luck with your cycle and the collection

Emski – good luck with your cycle…

I have a question…. Has anyone had low progesterone? What support didyour fs recommend..? My last fs had me on 4 pessaries per day and then the nextcycle on daily gestone injections… My current fs only has me on 3 pessariesper day – I don’t think that is enough…????

My heart- yep I sure did have a low prog. I went crazy and did 5 pessaries - I think in my case I wasnt soaking the bullets well, so I swapped to 3 x crinones and 2 bullets (400mg). Crinones an expensive option but that was te last thing on my mind. I also would do one during the night eg when I got up to pee at 2am. I was on provera too (still am) and upped it to 10 a day then after a week reduced it to 8 now on 6 a day and brought down pessaries to 3 now - I regularly do my bt so if I feel like things are taking a dive I up the dosages again. My prog still isn't fantastic and is at 41 (and that was after I had upped those dosages ) but I guess it's ok. To tell you the truth i just sought help from the girls on this thread and listened to them rather than wait for FS to get back to me.

Ann glad things are back on track for your pregnancy.

MGC Bertie, Springrain, luca, emski good luck with this cycle.

Emski I've never been on a boost or flare cycle. Is there a benefit to this type of cycle over others according to your FS?

Three goes I'm sorry about your devastating news.

Team panda glad things going well with pregnancy. Why are you on clexane?

AFM feeling premenstrual as I head to blood test next week. Scared and checking but so far keeping the AF at bay and praying hard.
