Cuddle - personally I wasn't going to give up until I knew I had tried everything. I have a fs who was willing to mix things up and every time I went to see her she would make new suggestions. I trusted her and was willing to spend the bucks. She did keep telling me it was my eggs that were the problem but she was never definitive on that point, so I found it hard to believe. In my head my husbands smoking addiction was holding us back. It took a lot of hard work getting him healthy and I put as much energy into that as the ivf process as a whole. I have done 8 stim cycles in 2 years and what kept me going was that I got pregnant the first time, so why couldnt I again? What state are you in and who is your specialist? Do you feel he/she is working hard for you. Have you tried dhea? What type of cycles have you done? As you said yourself your cycles are getting better but you you need to get the eggs out. Are you willing to try a more progressive doctor, maybe Dr Nick or Dr Lynn in melbourne. A lot of doctors do Skype appointments now, you could enquire.
Ann congratulations! My 2 that went in were early blasts and I was a bit disappointed that they weren't more developed. In the past I've had hatching blasts and they haven't stuck.

Hi Everyone,Cuddle sorry to hear about the BFN. It seems like we place so much energy and live on tenterhooks to then get negative feedback.Bertie, Panda, thank you for all the information, Some good key questions there to ask the FS.Ann congratulations, crossing everything so it continues to go well for you.I got my phone call today, a little discouraged, from 4 follicles, 3 were retrieved. Overnight only one has fertilised so if it makes it till Monday I will have ET then.Feeling scared but hopeful.

Hi everyone, quick post as I just washed the floors and can't walk on them to do more cleaning until they're dry (hahaha). Had our 20 week scan yesterday and we are thrilled to be Team Blue!

Tiny - my worst ever cycle was the one that had 1 fert out of 7 eggs, it was such a blow cause the cycle before that I had only 2 eggs and both did fert so when I had 7 eggs in the following cycle I was elated to say the least. On one hand increased egg no.s n the other hand decreased fert. But also I personally believe that 1 only had fert as we used dh frozen sperm, I never went back to that again n no matter what part of the world dh is in he had to be back for fresh is best n luckily all the other times had high fert. I did make it to day 3 tx with the one. So you have your tx hun.
Twocam - go team blue . Take it easy n rest up girl n remember no heavy lifting!

Butterfly - your mums like my dh, he has made me bed ridden with only toilet privileges! He is just putting on a nice leg of lamb with veggies for me! This one better stick, imagine all the delicious cooking he will do then !And he has promised me a tummy tuck after ! And pull the $$ out of the proverbial?

Yeah Ann - I didn't rest at all for my last cycle and mum had a conniption and said for sure I did everything wrong I humoured her this time and lay immobile and watched x factor auditions for almost every country.... (It was the most feelgood thing i could think of and quite entertaining)...so now she's super smug since BFP. I had a long lecture about how I'm not to get excited or feel any joy until 4 months ... But I really needed this and even if it falls out its a small gain isn't it. So I will be happy while it lasts ! Hopefully 9months...

Ann, congratulations on being PUPO! Envying your cake indulgence, I've been on the diet and exercise thing

Butterfly, congratulations on your BFP, I loved hearing your story too. Glad to hear the lump was benign.

MRs P good luck for your FS appointment, hope you get some good news

Bertie, glad to hear your FS has something in mind, so silly to have to wait again.

Tinybaby, sending some good vibes for your embie to grow Good luck for transfer.

Cuddleready, I am so sorry to hear what happenedI think we've all wondered about the question of stop or keep going. At the moment, we are still getting new ideas and new things to try from the FS, so while we can keep going mentally, financially and emotionally, we'll hang in there.

Panda, glad to hear little Panda is doing just as he/she ought to.

Twocam, glad to hear you are team blue and can start planning for the nursery etc

Em, if the scientists can get everything set up in time to cycle end of Sept/early Oct then I will be joining you. I hope Lynn has something up her sleeve for you and can work her magic for this cycle.
I am a bit nervous about doing another fresh cycle, the last one was nearly a year ago, I don't know how much things have gone downhill. My FS wants to use elonva instead of gonal F or puregon too, which makes me more nervous, as I had OHSS my first cycle. Guess I can only try it and see.

Luca, for a good result on Monday

Hi to myheart and everyone else, hope you are having a good weekend.

AFM - not much fun here at the moment, DH has gotten sick (from DD coughing on him) and is laid up. Hope it doesn't affect his semen analysis on Monday. Other than that, we have our scientist appointments on Tuesday. My FS has started to get some of the results back from all those BTs I had, but all normal so far.
