Springrain.... Thanks :-) My preg BT is on Fri 2/8, just a couple of days after yours. That day will be my first day back at work after long service leave, so just going to take the 2WW easy, spend time with my parents, catch up on paperwork and such. A nice slow walk sounds good, perhaps tomorrow :-)

Hi everyone I hope you don't mind me popping in I was on this thread a little while ago and quite often read what's going on with everyone.

long story short we did 6 Ivf cycles and the Colorado on the 7th which resulted in a BFP which resulted in early birth but happy to say we now have a happy very healthy 2 year old.

we are about to use our last frozen embryo and was wonder in anyone has used steroids etc for a frozen transfer and if so what was your protocol.

good luck to everyone who are waiting for tests cycling or about to begin Kind regards

Lilly49, hello and welcome! Best wishes for your FET

AFM - just had an interesting conversation with an acquaintance who is the same age as me but doesn't know we have been doing IVF. She has one child a year older than mine and said she wants another. I said that DH and I want another but "as I'm quite old, I don't know if it will happen anymore". I think she was a bit offended and said she had plenty of time.

OK then, but without so much as an AMH test you won't know....

I think your friend has the bliss of ignorance. AMH is only an indicator anyway. I have great AMH for my age but my eggs are all duds. 5 eggs per ovary at 43 but only 1 viable.

Lilly good luck from me too. Bertie, I'll be thinking of you and wish you all the best.

I have a couple of tests booked for Friday and if I pass, I shall be off to Barbados in December for an FET. I'll be using a long down reg but also support for possible immune issues including prednisolone, clexane and aspirin. I can give you more info on the whole cycle if you need it.

Lilly... you give hope to us that a BFP is just around the corner :-)

Just sat and ate a piece of pineapple core!!! I'd read lots of things saying that eating pineapple core for the first three days after transfer helps, but to be honest, I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong - it's as chewy as old boots (not that I've ever eaten old boots!!). Perhaps I wasn't meant to eat it, but rather just suck the juice out. Any suggestions???

Just had a call from FN...donor just out of theatre...18 eggs. still too early to know how many are mature.

Had blood test to check hormone levels for the spotting I had last night and all is still suppressed, so all good. fert report in the morning.
