Just popped on quickly to wish Team Panda good luck for tomorrow. Emski - Im so sorry about the BFN. AFM DP just arrived home and it is the first time we can be together since our positive result. We got the phone call from the GP when I was driving DP to the airport and he has been at work for a week. Forgive me, but Im off to spoon with him!!! First scan on Tuesday!!

Em, - I'm so sorry it's looking like a BFN for you. I think by looking at this next cycle as, "just keeping DH happy before you move on" will take allot of pressure off you. So best of luck with plan B...

Team Panda, - Keeping everything crossed for you for tomorrow.

Sunny, - Happy spooning. Can't wait for tuesday, I bet!

AFM, - CD 2 and I've set all my alarms for my drug taking. At the moment I'm pretty relaxed about the whole thing. At 46, I have no expectations, so that takes some of the pressure off.

    Mrs P, for this cycle.

TeamPanda & Emski hoping today brings you good news. Em, I'm not with Wazza, I'm in Sydney. My FS suggested the following:
    1. inositol, 2 g in the morning and at night
    2. CoQ10, 200mg morning and night (though I went on a shopping spree at Chemist Warehouse a while back and bought several bottles on sale which are 150mg, so I guess I'll be getting a bit more than this for a while)
    3. l-arginine 1g morning and night
    These need prescriptions:
    • melatonin 3mg night
    • DHEA 25mg morning, lunch and night (though I'm not sure why she gave me this since I was previously told that since I have PCO I shouldn't take it - I guess I'll have to clarify)
Myheart, yes, it looks like I will be doing CGH.

My FS ran a full lot of miscarriage investigation blood tests like thyroid and antibody testing, so can't complain there. And now need to wait for karyotyping to come back, and for the scientist and nursing appointments, and DH's follow up SA. I also got specific numbers: 1 out of every 4-5 blastocysts at 40-43 could be expected to be chromosomally normal, and 20-45% of all cycles don't give any chromosomally normal embies. So feeling a bit nervous now about finding that golden egg.

Emski... very sorry to hear about your BFN. I was so hoping it was going to work for you, perhaps in part that for every BFP in the "over 40" group gives me extra hope that it might happen for me. I so know what you mean about this one last go - I have that all planned, and have been getting myself pysched up about donor eggs in SA for next year.... all until a couple of days ago when I had a big melt down at night with DH. Absolutely howling, and no matter how much DH tried to console me, it was no use. In that fit, I turned the tables and said I wanted to try more with my eggs, as we're really only have by next cycle have had three proper goes (with working sperm!!), and three cycles is not that much. DH was not impressed, and thinks I'm just going around in circles, which is probably true. Anyhow, will do next cycle in October, and see what that brings. No point on dwelling too much about it until then.

Fortitude and SprinRain.... thanks for your lists. I've actually got a whole page ready for my next consult, so will now cross-reference with your lists. I don't think the FS is going to be too pleased, as I think he thought I had a fairly long list last time!!

    Hi everyone.
I am beside myself with joy. Im literally jumping up and down. I'm allowed to enjoy this feeling for today. It's a positive!!!
    hcg 471.

Ill deal with the 'cautious optimism' tomorrow and just be happy for today. All this time I've been thinking maybe I had ashermans and couldn't understand why nothing had stuck. It's taken 2 years for another pregnancy!?

My acupuncturist was right last Saturday. I didn't want to tempt fate and post it but she said I had a very strong pregnancy pulse. Believe me it took me 5 seconds to digest that comment! I've been trying not to think about it all week.

TeamPanda, congratulations, what fantastic news!! Have a lovely night out with your friends tonight, definitely something to celebrate!

Bertie, I am sorry to hear you've been feeling down. You're right 3 tries with your own eggs isn't that many. Sending good vibes your way for the October cycle.

Wow Team Panda, a big congratulations from me too!

A question for you ladies.... I am triggering tomorrow night for pickup on Monday. Do you keep taking synarel on the trigger day? I'm sure I did last time but the nurse told me that I would have my last Synarel today. I don't want to skip it and find I ovulate early!

    Congratulations Panda wonderful news!
Enjoy every moment, you deserve to. Xx
Bertie, it is a rollercoaster with all these emotions, but you're right 3 goes is not that much, I always had 6 goes somewhere in my mind... and my next one will be 6...in just over 18 months so that's enough for this little black duck. Got my official BFN call today and have locked in the start of my new cycle, and on queue AF is making an appearance tonight thankfully - I didn't want to be waiting days, just want to keep the wheels in motion.
    Em xx
