Default Starting small childcare/family day care in Nedlands

    Hello Bub Hubbers,

I am an experienced Education Assistant and Childcarer and will be starting by own 'Boutique Early Learning Centre' in November/December 2013.
Technically it will be licensed under a family day care scheme but it will operate as a small centre with only 4/5 children and a focus on creative play and educational activities. The service will be available for 3 & 4 year olds. Activities will include French lessons, baking, craft activities and educational games. The focus will be on creating a warm, familiar, fun and creative environment. I strongly believe that a child's first experience in a group learning environment should be positive and focus on building confidence and a feeling of security. There will also be a strong emphasis on social skills and values such as sharing, caring about others, and treating each other with respect and good manners. Positive and practical caregiving will be the aim and we will provide firm and fair boundaries. Ultimately, this is will be a safe and familiar place for little ones where they feel happy, confident and free to learn and explore.

I am currently looking for properties close to SCGH. Wondering if there are any staff members/locals looking for a service like this ?

Fees would be $140 per day from 8:00 - 6:00 & $20 per hour for additional hours outside of those hours and on weekends. Fees are before childcare rebate and operate Monday to Friday with a break over Easter long weekend, Christmas Day and 4 weeks in September 2014.

ELC cleaned using earth cleaning products where possible. Meals will be provided and include recipes from Jamie Oliver & Deceptively Delicious.
Photos and details available in October.

Would love feedback and expressions of interest
