    I did a little googling, and found somewhere that suggests that biting your nails can do something to the base of them. I accidentally closed the browser window before I could read it all and now I can't find it! *Smacks forehead*

    I've bitten my nails for 25yrs and have never had anything like this. I'm a little bit less stressed now knowing it could be something other than liver disease

    My nails did this when I was pregnant. Not sure if that's the case for you though??

    Did you have problems with vitamin deficiencies? This is my third pregnancy but first time I've had this. I had hg with my second too.

    At the time I didn't eat meat and was often deficient in iron. I was also anaemic after having my DS1. I had vomiting with morning sickness my entire pregnancy so I'm sure I'd be lacking elsewhere.

    I got blood tests the other day. Results today. Everything is normal.

    My nails are still white. So no idea what's going on
