How about your skin? Did it clear up any acne or make no difference or make it worse?

How about weight? Did it affect your weight loss or make you gain?

I have actually just lost 12kg in 12 weeks, but that was my own doing, not the mini pill. I did not notice any big weight gain or loss when I started taking it.

It made me moody, angry and I had no libido. It began causing problems in my relationship. I even asked my dr because I was concerned that I was so angry and they brushed it off as hormones.

I don't know if it affected my weight. It certainly didn't make me gain weight as I lost weight but I also started training for nationals and kept breastfeeding so I attribute it more to that.

Thanks ladies. I'm really unsure what to do. Ill probably only breastfeed for 6 months so hopefully ill only be on it for 4.5 months. I've heard that breast feeding can affect your libido too.
So I might not need to worry about getting pregnant anyway! Hahahaha

Breastfeeding hasn't affected my libido. I fed DS1 for 2 yrs and after stopping the mini pill it eventually came back. With DS2 it is even better. I'm not using hormonal contraception and it is back to how I felt at 18. Lol.

I'm on microlut also. Started when dd was about 3mths old and up until last month (dd now 16mths) had no issues apart from zilch libido.

Finally got af back last mth though & for the past 4 or 5wks now its been constant on/off spotting. Its driving me nuts but I'm just waiting it out for a bit to see if things will regulate. I don't know if its the pill or just the fact its been 2yrs since my last period worst case I just stop, we are planning on ttc in the new year anyway so not a big issue if I need to stop

I'm still bf too, not sure what else is safe to take??

I was on microlut and noticed a mood change within a few days. I became paranoid and depressed :-(
Went to my GP who advised to stop taking the mini pill and see what happens. I got better within a week :-D

Subbing. I just started taking noriday mini pill yesterday and am feeling uneasy about it. Im weaning from breastfeeding and idealy would like to not use hormonal contraceptives but I need to manage my endometriosis. Dr suggesterld the mini pill as she said it has less side effects than the combined pill. Hoping I don't get a period on it all otherwise I will be switching to a continuous combined pill.
