I'm not very technical with Cars but we have a Prado, it is so comfortable to drive and be a passenger. Very smooth drive, so much room for the family! Especially for weekends away, everything is easily fit it. It seems to tow our boat really well.
We have only had it a few months but we have not come across one problem. DF really wanted an older and tougher looking 4WD and laughed at the sales person when they suggested the Prado, as soon as he drove it he fell in love.

They have huge fuel tanks and are very reasonable on fuel (ours is diesel). I am not sur eif they all are but ours was made so it is in constant 4WD so no locking in the hubs when on the tracks.

Hope I helped, I really do love our!

Kluger is an AWD ok off road but not for serious 4wd'ing
Pardon is great for 4wd'ing an towing
It really depends on what you want to use it for

dp is a mechanic Toyota 'specialist' and said Prado for sure! I originally wanted a Kluger. He wouldn't let me so we got a Landcruiser. Love the prado's though.

The Kluger has a v6 engine where as the prado has the turbo diesel option which I prefer. Better on fuel in someways.
IMO if I had to choose I would go the prado
