    Default Melbourne Fertility Specialist

    Hi Ladies,

    Here's my dilemma:

i'm ttc #4, previous treatment for #1-3 was via puregon and trigger shot. My previous FS was very good about changing up the treatment when I said clomid doesn't work for me.

I've since moved interstate and have started seeing a new FS who is very conservative and is insisting I try clomid first. 1st cycle was a very weak ovulation and a BFN and here I am on the next cycle at CD20 and absolutely no signs of even a weak ovulation. Clomid just doesn't cut it for me, but every time I try to broach the subject of injectables he tells me I need to try clomid first.

i'd like to see a new FS that will listen to me and my previous treatment history and work with what I know works, I don't want to keep wasting cycles and money when I know there is a more effective treatment available.

would love to hear any recommendations for a FS that you think fits the bill!

    TIA

Ok so I went to reproductive service at the women's. it's free and you see a bunch of fertility people from Melbourne ivf. My doctor now through them is professor McBain but I see dr Gronow and he's super helpful and kind although I've had to chase him for things before.

I've also had several friends see Dr Haider who say he is fantastic

Both doctors are both OB's and FS

I got a referral from my gp and I think the initial wait was 3 months or so then once you are in and if you go straight to the ivf side you get your appointments easy and when you need them

I am seeing Dr Haider Najjar and he is great I got a referral thru my gp and saw him within a month (went on the cancellation list so managed not to wait too long).
