Sootymay, my heart goes out to you. You must feel such mixed emotions right now. I wish I could give you a big hug. As all the girls have said there are so many stories like yours that have ended with a BFP. As you know I had the opposite result with amazing quality embryos and we are still awaiting a pregnancy. So even if you have the best quality embryos, it doesn't mean you will get pregnant. In fact it seems the opposite is true. You just need one honey so don't lose faith in these embryos. You have done all that you can. Now just have faith and know we are all thinking of you and sending you lots of positive thoughts

Someone asked about Dr Matebase. I had her for my first transfer as my Dr was on holidays. She was so lovely, kind and gentle and I would absolutely recommend her.

Thanks Abundance, she has been great in replying to my emails with honest responses. Was concerned she may not be as good as Dr L or Dr W because it seems everyone has them.

    Hi everyone,

I wish I was posting some good news.. But our last transfer has resulted in a big fKing negative. Needless to say we are pretty gutted and really not sure what to do next.

Big positive vibes to sooty, Jodi and bb4me. Take it easy and relax over the coming weeks. Big breaths!

To the newbies - my journey with CFC was fantastic. I used gift ov life and Mandy is brilliant. I can't fault anyone in our journey, everyone has helped us in CPT.

I'm taking sometime out but I wish everyone all the very best.

    Hugs
    Makey xx

I had dr matebese. After years of negative Australian Ivf procedures she was amazing. Gentle, thorough...experienced. I now have 3 month old twins. Oh.., and my donor was a first timer. Hit the jackpot on all accounts!

Makey - OH ********* to be polite. So so sorry..... I just replied to your PM and hadn't checked the forum. OMG... so unfair, what more can I say, its our worst nightmare. Thinking of you sweet - you've been such a support to me - and words can't express how you must be feeling. Loads of love to you both

HI to everyone that has posted their support for me, I'm so grateful for your sensible words of wisdom during my distressed time on Saturday, it was just awful and its well behind me, for now anyways

I've taken note of all the stories of poorer embryos making it and real life stories.... its calmed me down, which is what I needed. It wasn't a nice place! And now, what will be will be, and I will have to deal with Plan B later if required - I simply cannot cope with that possibility right now (normally I can) this time, its going to have to wait.

We also moved to our next accommodation on the Sunday, to stunning Fish Hoek Bay, above the sea with amazing views, just stunning. The weather is glorious and we've been down to Cape of Good Hope - stunning. Mountains, ocean, wildlife, the works - a gorgeous day.

I spent a lot of time looking through Gift ov Life too - Mandy and Tami are angels. We went through ababysa and they are fantastic - cannot sing their praises enough as well. We are meeting up with Lara tomorrow after my intralipid - its something they offered to do if we wanted to meet them. They genuinely care for both their donors and receiptants. Have kept in touch throughout the cycle. I'm really looking forward to meeting Lara in person. Unfortunately Tina, her offsider - who is just fab !!! is away, so I wont get to meet her.

Once again thanks everyone - sorry I wasnt able to thank you a day earlier

Hi Ladies,So sorry I haven't been around for so long. I've been working 4 days a week and busy with my DS I just hardly had any spare time! I just finished work last week and caught a horrible virus for 4 days right at the time where I was sending blood overseas to test my immune system on a new drug (neupogen) to help with my various immune problems. There has been alot of success o/s with this drug especially HLA matches and low blocking antibodies etc. (which is all that I have including high NK cells etc. Anyway I'll have the results at the end of the week. We've booked our flights for SA leaving Sat 7th Dec and we are having a stop over for 5 days in Singapore on the way home. So looking forward to a break away and hope to bring additional precious cargo home with us.Sooty - Like the others have said please dont think it's all over. CFC are very strict with the quality of the embryos so what they consider slow embies are great here in Australia!!! I'm wishing you all the very best and that is your turn!Jodi - I'm so sorry your previous attempt was unsuccessful and I'm keeping everything crossed that you bring home the BFP!BB4ME - Look forward to hearing your news of a successful outcome. Makeba - So very sorry to hear that you were unsuccessful on your 2nd trip. My heart goes out to you. Did you end up having any immune testing or tried clex and pred this time? Sorry I've been out of the loop for so long it's hard to keep track!Hi to everyone one else! Looking forward to hearing about the BFP's coming back from Cape Town. Keeping everything crossed
