Laned unbelievable - your detective skills are amazing well done for tracking her down - I don't understand some people - so mean and selfish!

    ATM
well I had another bleed at 2am Saturday morning this time like a full flow period! Very scary so just padded up and went back to bed and stayed as still as possible got back up in the morning and had a huge blood clot fall out - very scary
I hadn't really had any pain so took this as a good sign but let's face it bright red blood and clots isn't what you call classic pregnancy symptoms. I had an appointment already booked for Monday morning so since the bleeding had stopped Saturday morning and no pain (just an ache like mild period pain) I decided to just rest and wait it out.
So today the OB did a external scan and so relieved the baby is still there with a perfect heart beat and perfect size.
He could see the source of the bleeding being a subchorionic bleed he said it was small but significant. He said that I need another two weeks bed rest to maintain good blood flow to the uterus and to hopefully have the blood reabsorb and not become a problem for the placenta. I have another appointment with him Monday so fingers crossed it gets smaller and I don't have another bleed that opens the wound. Also he thought the ache pain would be from the bleeding which I must admit the feeling didn't feel right however having never been pregnant I didn't know. It has felt like I've had my period for the last two weeks.

Work have been supportive which is a great relief.

All in all not an ideal situation but am thankful to have made it this far and am praying this little fighter hangs in there for me

Still no other classic pregnancy symptoms but just have to tell myself everyone is different.

Pixel - I just read your post. Lots happening in BH today. Glad to hear that you little one is okay. 2 weeks bed rest for you m'dear! Great that your work are being supportive, now don't give work another thought and just concentrate on doing NOTHING for two weeks.

I have my first appointment with my OB on Wednesday. Did another string of blood tests today with my GP as the last lot had been done prior to me commencing IVF 12 months ago. My BBs are extremely sore (need to find a new bra now) but still lucky just to be feeling sick only towards the second half of the day. My dad gave me some ginger lollies that he takes when he gets an upset stomach and they work a treat... so does not allowing myself to reach the point of hunger, so I just have a handbag filled with healthy nibbles so I don't get hungry and it seems to be doing the trick.

Pixel you poor thing you have really been through the ringer. Take care my love. I was on bed rest for months in hospital so I know what a struggle it is. Tell all your friends so they can all visit and look after you. Hugs

helenweels, I couldn't open the link but ill email the clinic now and see what they say. Thank you for all the information. I do recall asking about this when we selected our donor and I was advised her blood group would be compatible but I will check again.

Thanks for all your lovely posts

Pixel - your OB sounds onto it and experienced, just what you need. Good news bubby is alright, frustrating about the bedrest, but great your work is supportive, that takes away a lot of worry. Enjoy all the movies, surfing and whatever else you choose to do ! xx

Abundance - sounds like you've got a plan going since this morning, good for you.

Pixel.... I'm thinking of you as you start your bed rest... Try to get as many real housewives on the planner as you can.... You'll need it!
So glad that your work is on board.... We do find that we stress about our jobs a lot more than we really ought to..
Now that they are out of the way you can concentrate on doing nothing...
It will be boring.. But oh so worth it...

abundance - the link was one of many that I thought may be of use... I didn't mean to alarm you... Or give a virtual diagnosis... I just thought it may have some relevance..
The Rhesus factor is what we all know as the positive or negative when we all refer to our blood types. 85% of the population are positive, while the remaining 15% are negative... I wouldn't normally recommend to google (this can sometimes lead to more anxiety and confusion). I just think it may be useful to get your head around the reality. I'm A neg, so just found out what I needed to.... And a simple injection is all that's required.. There is a timeframe on the jab that you need to think of... When I have miscarried, I had to get the shot within72 hours for it to be effective.

Rainbow I agree with the ginger completely... Though they take some getting used to! I get the buderim ginger gummi bears from woolies.

How is everyone else going? Sorry if I missed you personally
    xxxx

Laned, you are amazing. Congratulations on getting on that ladies' goat. Her getting angry is a good sign as it means you pushed her buttons. Keep the finger on the button! If there's any damage to the pram (your property), take that to the police too. Also, whatever she does now, her intention to defraud you was clear. If it wasn't for your detective work, you'd have lost those funds. I'd keep the investigation going, she deserves to be charged.

Abundance, I would definitely have the RH negative thing looked into. you don't want to wonder "what if" on your next transfer. I am so sorry, you've had such a battle over such a long time. This journey really seems unfair at times. i hope your next transfer results in your precious bub at last.

Pixel, rest up and good luck! I have everything crossed for you.
Helen and Rainbow, I hope everything continues to bloom for you both.

AFM: Just waiting to leave now. I've been doing a bit of sewing as I have some fabric that I'd really like to make into things to wear while I'm away. In between I have been trying to plan some minimalist packing. I am only taking carry on and have to accommodate a day and a half in NY early winter as well as the hot, humid Carribean. I really need to get some thermal underwear and figure Jeans and a jumper with that will have to do. I shall probably pop into shops to warm up as the need arises.

The plumber has fixed the pipe so now there's no backflow from the soakwell flooding my floor. They are doing something outside but are communicating with my neighbour rather than me and she isn't sure what they are doing at the moment so i really have no idea. I took my spare keys from said neighbour tonight as I had specifically requested she not let anyone else into my apartment except the plumber. She had keys for another neighbour in the past and was nagging people to come in and have a look at the mess his place was in so I was very clear with her that I didn't want other people in my place. I was chatting to another neighbour at the local shopping centre who advised me that my neighbour had shown her where in the bathroom the flooding was happening and that someone else had been there as well. This old lady really has no idea of boundaries and privacy and I really cannot trust her with my keys any longer. She tried to deny everything but I doubt anyone would invent having been dragged in to look at my bathroom floor. It is convenient to ask her to hold the keys but I value my privacy a bit more, if not my security as well.

As to the selfish so and so upstairs, I have no idea now if he's still flooding the floor or not. If he hasn't had his machine repaired, I will still be getting ceiling damage and that may not be apparent for some time. Fortunately repairs to that will be covered financially by strata. I've yet to hear from the contractor who is supposed to be investigating all that. If work is needed it can wait until I'm back from Barbados. The council will be getting a call in a couple of days to follow up on the complaint I lodged with them as I haven't heard anything.

Oh Pixel, I'm so happy that everything is ok, what a relief! stay horizontal girl! don't lift anything! don't do anything.

abundance you poor thing I feel for you, did they give you the shot? Whilst it's not a huge problem it is one that needs to be addressed, negative and positive don't mix and years ago used to be considered a miscarriage factor and investigated. I am so shocked to read that its now forgotten and shots aren't automatically given. Bright side is you did get pregnant so can do again make sure everyone knows of the positive negative issue.

Laned, I know she is a mother etc. but she needs to be reported to the police, fraud is fraud and I can't imagine who else she has done this too, no need to press charges but I'm sure the police could have a word to her and show her the error of her ways. I would also report it to eBay and have her removed. I'm a huge believer of karma, and you don't want to have the negative energy around, going out with your little one is meant to be a pleasure for both of you, not an issue becaus you remember the problems with obtaining a pram.

Net glad to hear alls sorting itself out. Fingers crossed that Mr upstairs got himself a new washing machine.

Helonwheels bless you honey, day care are going to have to take him and if he gets sick again the hubby is going to have to look after him and take him to work when needed, it's just one of those things. My dad lives with us he is 90 and can barely look after himself so I wouldn't leave Matthew with him, he is the closest family we have, the rest are in mittagong or Tewantin. I'm a shire girl. Maybe we could meet up in the city for lunch towards Chrissy?

January how are you going with your decision are you any clearer as to what you want do ? Its tough isn't it!

AFM Hubby has already said to me we should think about giving up if it doesn't work this time, I'm more inclined to use up all the eggs then give up, I just feel we made the decision to go ahead with the journey again we should at least use the eggs, I just have to convince him of that lol. I am to stop the OCP today so I guess I'm about to officially start the treatment plan. I've been taking my kelp tablets which I forgot to do last time, I have thyroid issues and found that kelp actually helps. I've had my last glass/es of wine, and am now going to try and stop the decaf coffee, the coffee is the hardest, I know decaf is meant to be ok especially as its water treated but there are the odd reports that it's still not ok. I trying to mimic my previous cycle to hopefully help things. Problem is I hadn't had a drink for two years last time, oh well, oops. Have a great day ladies.

    Hi Ladies,

I had the RH investigated by the clinic today and I had it round the wrong way, I'm Positive and the donor and Hubby are negative so there is no Rhesus factor issue when you are positive. We also heard back from the SA clinic and all our donors previous donations have resulted in a live birth so it's clearly not an embryo issue. As I have mild adenomyosis My FS has suggested we do a hysteroscopy in the next 2 weeks to have a look at the uterus and scrape the lining as there are studies that show an improved pregnancy rate post a Hysteroscopy as the embryo has a clean uterus to implant. It definately sounds like a plan so we will meet with him on Thursday and hopefully gain some clarity for the next cycle. Thanks again ladies. I just have to get back on that roller coaster. Jodi we will be cycle buddies again. I'll be thinking of you

    Hi Ladies,

Am finding it hard to keep up with you all.

Oh Abundance I am so sorry it is heart wrenching to see that positive on a stick and then find out it is not meant to be this time. It certainly sounds like you are now on the right track for next time. Very interesting re the comments on Rhesus negative as I am A- and my partner is A+ and not once has any specialist ever suggested it as a problem

Thanks to everyone that asks after me from time to time - still can't decide whether to put myself through it again

    Look after yourself Pixel

Love and baby dust to all
