    Hi all,

Firstly thanks January for updating me on the role call it has been great to be Abe to follow where everyone is at

Congratulations to Allieoop and Araline for you BFP's

I'm so sorry to hear of the BFN's we all know how devastating they are and l found it even harder with a donor cycle as my hopes were so high it was pretty sad for awhile after. I'm thinking of you girls

So it took me 6 months to get to our first donor cycle ET and it will be almost 6 months to the day to do our 2nd. We will head over to Thailand in about 6 weeks and have a beach holiday and then up to Bangkok for the cycle. I have started the OCP to sync with my SA donor who will be flying from South Africa with a group of other SA donors and there agency escort to do the treatment cycle.

I have felt a lot more relaxed this cycle with regards to treatment as I know the ropes and know there is nothing l can do to alter the outcome so am just going with the flow. However I am still desperate for a BFP and constantly question my bodies ability/readiness to fall pregnant I.e. should I be dairy/wheat/sugar free should I test if I'm too acidic, the Chinese Drs say my ovens to cold! How do I relax and let go and accept what will be will be.

I have started a diary - I am writing to "my little one" This has helped me to express my feelings in a way that makes having a child feel real. I also felt this would be nice for "my little one" to read one day and know how much they were wanted.

I love reading everyone's news and hope we have a long list of BFP's to come

    xxx

Pixel ... it sounds interesting, who are you doing your cycle through? Are the prices comparable with doing a cycle in CT with CFC? A holiday on the beach sounds like a great added perk!

Hi ladies, just looking at our accommodation. Has anybody stayed in the Cape Grace Hotel? If so would you recommend for safety, amenities, location etc? Also is it quiet?

Look forward to hearing your feedback. Xx

    Hi ladies

In Cape Town...what a beautiful place, although it took me a day to notice...this twice world backpacker lost her passport on arrival here. How embarrassing and stressful. For a while there I thought the whole trip was over..I blame the lucrin!!! Passport was handed in at the airport.

Went cage diving today...fantastic. Had 7 HUGE sharks around the cage and was lucky enough to have one attack the bait right in front of me on the cage.

    First appointment at clinic tomorrow.

Hope everyone is well. Congrats Allie.

Pixel what an amazing thing to do, your little one will love the journal. I've heard some good things about the medical system in Thailand and global egg donations recommended an IvF clinic there too when I was looking at surrogacy, it came highly recommended by a lawyer I was talking too re overseas surrogacy issues too.

Thailand are also very big on the holiday and medical/dental treatment theory as well and must be pretty good as lots of people are taking up that option rather than wait in line here and the cost is almost halved. I can't wait to hear what you thought of it. It's an option for those who don't like travelling or can't travel too far for whatever reason, perhaps you can start a new thread to let others know there is that option available.

Where is the clinic you are going to? Thailand is such an awesome place and the people are so lovely, friendly and caring.

    Hi ladies!!

Congrats to all the ladies that got their BFP I'm pretty sure mine is going to be a BFN, I did a FRER this morning and it was BFN. I was hoping for better because I've been really crampy and my boobs have been swelled and really sore today. I assume its Gestone doing this, I'm 6dp5dt so there's still a few days but I'm preparing for a BFN.

We decided if it is a BFN we'll head back over in Jan for a second and last cycle..so frustrating
