    Hello Lovely Ladies
    It's a positive... I still can't believe it

I spent all of last week feeling like AF was just around the corner so had convinced myself it would come to nothing. Thursday night poas just to prepare and when I checked only one line oh well... but wait... the second little line appeared before my eyes and I couldn't believe it. Friday blood test hcg 67.9, second blood test today hcg 309. Honestly think I am in shock have never had a positive before, miracles really do happen.

Thank you all for making my journey easier, before and after I joined up.
DJ praying you get a big surprise and Sunny best of luck for tomorrow xx

Anait - congrats that's sensational news.

Donna - I'm sending positive vibes your way too.

Sunny - hang in there. Good vibes for you tomorrow also!

January -how are you going today?

Net - hope your waiting isn't too unbearable for the clinic to come back to you post your tests all going in. I'm sure it will all be fine. I know that you're cycling thorough a different clinic, but I also found this time to be the hardest with the CFC.

Did anybody see the story on Mary Coustas last night on 60 Minutes. Wow! What a woman! Talk about somebody who has walked in our shoes. I had read her book review about her battle with infertility a couple of months back in one of the weekend papers and last night watched that story on 60 minutes. It made me realise what truly absolutely amazing women we all are to be able to withstand this journey. Life is sometimes cruel - but I think Mary is going to have her wish granted after her second trip to Greece for donor eggs.

My heart absolutely ached for her after her first donor egg experience. She fell pregnant with Triplets only to find out that there were twins who shared the same sack, so reduction was offered. It failed the first time so she had to undergo that hideous procedure all over again.... and then ultimately ended up giving birth to her still born little girl Stevie at 21 weeks. I was sobbing beyond control at the whole story, so hideously sad, but ultimately will end up so happy.

We're lucky we all have each other.

To those of you who have not got the result you are looking for on this attempt... don't lose hope, you just have to keep searching for another door.

Lots and lots of hugs to you ladies.

AFM - I'm just one giant hormonal mess! Had acupuncture today and felt much better, but am crying at the drop of a hat. Praying to Mother Mary Mackillop that she grants us a miracle in South Africa. I'm so scared of failing again, but I won't give up - and I know this time I've got you lovely ladies around to keep me strong.

January I hope you got some resolution today .

Rainbow Chaser - you beat me to it, I was going to ask about others seeing the amazing Mary Coustos.. what a brave woman and amazing couple. I don't know that I have that kind of strength im me, and so happy for her that ( fingers crossed ) she will finally have the baby she has wanted so desperately..For all of us that are hormonal anyway , watching this will require a box of tissues !!

    Hi ladies,

    Anait - congratulations

Sunny15 - I had my blood test 12 days after my 3 day transfer. Even though my first HCG was only 19 it showed as pregnant on a digital HPT on the day of my 1st blood test! Good luck Sunny

Rainbow - I was sobbing watching the amazing Mary Coustas and her husband. I think we can all relate to her story. Isn't she amazing for going back again? I am not sure I would be that mentally tough.

DJ - Have been thinking about you all day and hoping you are ok

AFM - I have just returned from seeing my FS who explained what is going on. Apparently the placenta cells are giving off the HCG. As it is a low number it is definitely not viable. My ultrasound did not show anything at all!!!

He has agreed to me stopping the meds and wants to see me in a week for another blood test. Hopefully just stopping the meds will flush it out. He suggested the nasty injection and I asked him if I could postpone it until we get next weeks results. I am hoping just stopping the medication will sort the problem. He does not think it is ectopic at this stage but can't rule it out just yet! He did warn me that I would have a rather rough period which I kind of was expecting

The HCG numbers over the last 2 1/2 weeks have been crazy 19-23-34-25-25-40

I was chatting to the nurse at the clinic about our experiences in Cape Town and she thinks as my donor produced 20 eggs that the quality would have been affected Quality V Quantity

    Bye for now

Anait...BIGGEST hugs....it's just super dooper fantastic!!!!! Gotta say it..."Told you so!!!" Really pleased the second HCG was awesome. Thank you so much for making me a part of your very special journey.

Sunny....You have all the right symptoms for a good result tomorrow and I am crossing my fingers so much that this is your time. Hope your dream becomes reality tomorrow.

AFM...Had an appointment at 5.10pm to get my blood results but they weren't back grrrrr so I have to wait till tomorrow for confirmation of the negative. In actual fact, I don't even really have any side effects of the gestone and progynova anymore.

Have received the "updated" sperm donor list from CFC and our donor is no longer on it. Am still waiting on some answers from CFC as to why our embies had still not reached full blast by day 7. Might be waiting a while though. Also waiting on a reply from Dr W in regards to many questions including new protocol if I have to do another fresh cycle but am still waiting.

Have decided that as this has been our 4th ET with donor eggs our next cycle will be our last.

Hoping that you get that special news tomorrow Sunny....will be thinking of you.

January....What's happening with you girl? Are you doing ok?

Hello to all of you beautiful amazing ladies.

    Donna x

I had to post my last message before I had finished as BH went a wee bit funny

Rainbow chaser- nearly your turn. How are your plans? Need any advice/help with anything? Hope you are trying to relax & take things as they come I was like the little picture trying to get ready the last trip. He he

AFM- I had a bleed on Friday night. God, it was scary. It reminded me that the roller coaster is actually a very long & frightening ride. It wasn't a lot of blood. I rang my FS & she calmed me down. I have her mobile- that was great. The bleeding stopped within an hour. I stayed in bed all of Saturday & feel ok now. I am going for a scan & blood test this Friday. I am worried bub isn't growing as expected I have no MS & don't really feel pregnant... I really hope I am wrong about this...
Enough of my moaning... I am very sorry for the ladies that haven't had their dream come true this time. BH girls are strong!! It will happen when it's your time
