    Do you happen to know how I would receive the excess they potentially owe me then? I think I overestimated my income, so may be entitled to some additional back from the CCB. Or will this automatically happen (systems linked) when I submit my tax?

    It will happen after you have done your tax.
    We get a supplement each year. From what I understand we are underpaid part A and part B if you don't owe them anything you get it all back, plus if they have underpaid you anything. Comes in a few weeks after I do my tax returns.

    Not sure if this has been covered yet Pesca but if you were partnered for any of the last financial year, then you won't get any top-up payments/supplements until your XH has done his tax as well. You separated in October last year didn't you?

    Any excess they owe you will be transferred to your account once they've received the info from the ATO for your tax return and it's reconciled on their system. But again, they can't reconcile it until your XH has lodged his tax return as well :-/

    Oh crap thanks for that info, definitely wasn't aware of that! Yes it was Oct, so a few months of partnered.

    Fingers crossed he needs the money too!
