I cannot believe they use epidurals for c sections. And this only furthers my belief of this.

    Congrats on your beautiful boy.

Congratulations on your gorgeous boy. So sorry though about your traumatic birth. I had a traumatic birth (no time for a c section so he was violently ripped out) six months ago and my baby was quite unwell and in special care. He sustained broken bones during the birth. And his resucitation. I have had a lot of extra complications since his birth including a hospital super bug I caught and blood clots. I recommend counselling. I see a post-natal psych. Which has been invaluable. I also had a meeting with a dr from the hospital ( not the one who delivered my boy, a different one coz I didn't want to see him again) And going over all the notes helped. I spoke several times to a hospital social worker who sent me information on making a complaint. I ended up not making a complaint once I had all the answers I needed. I didn't want to rehash it all again. Your story reminded me so much of my own story so I wanted to tell u how I am getting through it all. Big hugs. Pm me if you want to.

congrats on such a beautiful little boy and at the same time, im sorry to hear what a terrible ordeal you had. I would lodge a complaint to the hospital, it's really appaling how it ended up.
